I was very disappointed. It’s more of an Indian restaurant. The ugali was pathetic. The chapatis were actual rotis. I don’t recommend this for anyone looking for African food.

Amazing food and service. They were closing at 9pm and we arrived 8.15pm, they didn't get annoyed and gave us great service. Flet like being in Mombasa Amazing east African food. Would highly recommend everything on the menu. Halal food.

I used to come here fairly regularly and the food was amazing. Came back today after a long time and unfortunately the quality of the food is terrible. The ribs were completely burnt and I was told that's how bbq is. The ribs also had an odd smell to them and the samosas were very bland. Really sad to see one of my favourite places in the city go down in quality.

Gulam, Manita, and Zakiya were absolutely amazing hosts and provided the best customer service. The food was exceptional, the best East African food we’ve ever had. The chai made by Manita was excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back all the way from Calgary and Edmonton! Thank you so much.

Best mishkaki I’ve had in north america! Reminds me of Mombasa Mishkaki! Ribs, mogo, kebabs were delicious. Great service too. Would go back again and again!

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday today . Karima and her husband were very good and great customer service where customers are treated like family. Food quality was great, exceptional customer service .

The service is fantastic. The attention to detail is excellent and the food - beef ribs, fish masala, anything on the menu, you can not go wrong. The new owners know what they are doing. Never a disappointment. You want tasty East African food? SIMBA IS THE PLACE. Absolutely Fantastic
