You get a huge bowl for $14, noodle texture is amazing, and mine was an enjoyable level of spicy. They give you lots of beef but it's fatty (i usually prefer leaner sliced beef in my noodles). So glad to have this spot in the west end, which is lacking in Chinese food. Dinging a star because it's not my absolute fave in the city and the broth could be richer, but I'll always stop by when I'm here.
Sichuan Style Sauteed Chicken (四川风味炒鸡肉) is legendary. The Chillis are mild but also hot, when you try it you'll understand what I mean. Absolutely amazing a must try. It's been a while since I had a new dish.
Loved the food. All ingredients were so fresh. The Szechuan noodle was our favorite. I don't eat spicy and I asked for their spicy version and it was great and didn't find it hot just a gentle kick.
We are so happy they are back! Even though they’ve moved to this new place and are no longer in our neighbourhood, we will still come here to eat as often as we can. This is by far our most favourite restaurant in this area.
We've missed this place so much since they moved from the Annex location. We finally get to try them again, the food is still amazing! the owner is super sweet, exceptional service! I am so happy they are able to find a location not too far from us! We will go there again and highly recommend their noodles and stir fry dishes!
If you need a big ol' bowl of noodz, this is the spot. A bowl of the handmade noodle with beef is $12.99 which is great value, plenty of hefty chunks of beef in it. Peep the before/after of how much dried chillis are in the Sichuan chicken ($19.49)️
My fiancé and I had our first date in this restaurant, and we were devastated when the Bathurst location shut down. However, they've recently reopened near Dufferin. We stopped by and the food was as delicious as before. The laziji and hand-pulled noodles are fantastic. The owner is lovely as well. Hoping it's around for many more years.
