Great Brunch! The piano doesn't overwhelm and you can still hear yourself and others. Service was great along with the food. I'll definitely be back again.

Had the best Sunday dinner at **The Berczy Tavern** in downtown Toronto. Their **Sunday roast beef** was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and so comforting. The vibe was warm and relaxed, and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. A huge shoutout to Nicole, my server, who did everything she could to make me feel at home and even brought a hot homemade salsa to go with my beef. Food was delicious but took a star off because it took a very long time to arrive. We noticed the table beside ours got their food despite us ordering before theirs. Service/organization is hit or miss. The first time we had dinner here we had 3 different servers and the 2nd server didn't put in our dinner order-we waited for ~45min and had to scarf down our dinner in 15min to make our show- which we already notified Berczy about. Ambience is nice; became hard to hear my dinner companions around 7pm or so. Would go again but earlier dinner at 5, 5:30pm.
Everything in this place, from Food to hospitality to the servers everything was just the best t of its kind. They also were so cute to bring my boyfriend a candle with his dessert and champagne for us when we first sat. It was his birthday and I absolutely recommend this place, especially during hours when they have live piano playing. Shoutout to Tyler, our super friendly and helpful server!
Great food, great service, great ambiance, and really exceptional piano tonight (he played so well!). Kudos to everyone who made the Berczy Tavern stand out. We’ll be back.
