I would like to recommend this place. It is efficient and attractive with attentive friendly staff and good food. It is ideal for brunch as you can reserve a table and avoid a line up. I think it is good value.
Nice, non-downtown rooftop view of downtown nice layout and comfortable seating. Seated quickly, and we were able to choose a table that suited us well. Since this is more a bar than a full-service restaurant, the menu is heavily liquid based but the food they do serve is very good. The pappardelle bolognese was excellent. The "flatbread" was more a Focaccia with pizza toppings, but very good as well. It took a while to flag down staff if you wanted anything such as take out containers or pay the bill, but the food was served in a timely manner. We would return again if we were in that part of the city.
Service was absolutely awful. The waiter did not greet us just put the menu on the table and left, then took 20 minutes to come back and take our order. Took about an hour to get our food, the people who came in after us got the food faster than us and when we finally got our food it was bland and COLD!! Awful experience, not worth the money or your time, would not recommend to come here if you’re looking for good food. Only thing nice was the restaurants decor.
Very chill and laid back atmosphere with good music. Wasn't too loud so you can actually carry out a conversation without shouting. Very good food, I highly recommend the salmon! You won't be disappointed.
Service was atrocious. I had to get up and order my drink every time. Servers were too busy doing cutlery roll ups instead of attending to their tables. Extremely disappointing considering how beautiful the place is, and how expensive a cocktail/plate is. Don't waste your money, lots of other bars on Queen East.
I attended an alumni event here so not the usual food and service etc. Lovely large open space. Yummy snacks and hors d’oeuvres. Acoustics were reasonable for conversation. It was a lovely, well catered event, and I would probably return again to try the regular menu if I was in the area. Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures. Next time!
Food was great but 2 of us went for a business lunch at noon and finished at 2pm. Took 30 minutes to bring our salads and another hour (1:30pm) to bring our mains. We both had meetings after 1pm so it was awkward as we had to scramble to find people at work to take the meetings. There didn’t seem to be any focus by the servers to update us on the food or adhere to a reasonable timeline. There were 2 other tables of 2 so it wasn’t busy with 2 servers. I’d go back for a social meal but not for a work related meal. Everything took wayyyy too long.
