The Cannery Is by far one of my most comforting hidden gems outside of the downtown scene . The staff , the chefs outstanding execution and service . My favorite meals is definitely the seafood linguine. Filled with fresh seafood succulent scallops. Not the small kind that gets dehydrated. Juicy and full . The cream in the sauce is so gentle and sweet . Perfect ! I came back on my second visit to have the seafood chowder and garden salad with the straw banger and it was the perfect meal . Fresh seafood cream well flavored chowder . . Fresh crisp salad and well blended cocktail to top it off . The meal that gained my stamp of respect was definitely when I was served by the passionate Victoria , who went above and beyond to give me a one of a kind dine in experience. I had the classic burger and from the first bite the juices were flowing through my fingers I immediately thought of everyone I need to share this with . The bun was artisan and toasted with butter the patty was perfectly seasoned and the fixing were placed with care. I had many burgers from all over the gta and this one definitely was one of the best . Thank to Ludlow . Who definitely crafted that burger with care . After raving over the burger The Executive Chef world renowned Tony Frenandes came to great me and we exchanged words on our passion for culinary I was a student at George brown culinary school and he worked with the board of the institute .You could definitely see the twinkle of passion as he spoke on his values in the culinary industry . The crème brule was amazing subtle lemon with a the perfect brule on top topped with fresh cream and strawberries. He also he gifted me his personal blend of coffee . An extra ordinary experience . Tucked in the Crowne plaza hotel . Thanks again for the amazing hospitality! Definitely a must try !
Absolutely outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm atmosphere and exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was beyond delicious — fresh ingredients, amazing flavours, and beautifully presented. We arrived later at night, shortly before closing. Very friendly and accomodating staff! We had meal vouchers and enjoyed BBQ Wings as well as Cheesecake for dessert. Delicious!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hilton nearby and we picked this restaurant on the whim. We went during late lunch hours. Josie, our waitress provided us with impeccable service and the food was delicious. The artichoke dip tasted homemade. The crispy fried chicken sandwich and clam chowder soup were both brag worthy.
Went down for a quick breakfast before heading to a conference. Worst eggs benedict I've ever had, sub-par coffee is $4 and $5 for an iced tea. Prices are outrageous, and the quality and portions are just sad. $56 for two people to have breakfast. For some reason, they dimmed the lights in an already dark room. The service from our server was great but next time, I'll go down to Eggsmart for better quality at a lower price.
Excellent service and the food was great! This weary traveler arrived just before closing and was very well treated. Most places would make you feel rushed, but not here. Thank you Josie and kitchen staff!
