My wife and drove over an hour to enjoy a Sunday brunch. She had the high tea for $70/person and I ordered their prime, scotch eggs and their tuna crudo. My wife got these tiny sandwiches which were super cold and not tasty at all. It was very poorly put together and the servers didn't even know what the items were. The scotch eggs were salty and tasted horrible. For $55 I was expecting a delicious prime rib and wow, what a let down...the best thing I ate was the tuna crudo and the Yorkies! The place is gorgeous , service and drinks were fine. Oliver & Bonancini do restaurants well when they newly open, then they let it slip away and unfortunately this is one that's overly hyped. My reco is focus on what you did when you opened the doors. When you spend $292 for brunch for two, people expect brilliance. Not a repeat for sure.
Took my son and wife for a Birthday Sunday Lunch and can genuinely score the experience 5 star. Food melts in your mouth from appetizer to final desert and the service and ambience is superb. Would highly recommend and will visit again.
Attended as part of the "Taste of Iceland" event. The food was out of this world for flavours and presentation. Arctic Char, Icelandic Cod and Lamb were the featured dishes and hit all the buttons. The service was another story. Long wait times between the courses. The manager apologised for the delays but it took the edge of a much anticpated event. We have been to all the Taste of Iceland events since it started.
Went here on a Friday while Well After Dark was on. Awesome drink and snack specials! The DJ was good too and we could actually hold a conversation so the noise level was perfect. Overall a great night in a beautiful space.
"Every dish we tried was delicious, and the ingredients were so fresh.Pejman is a friendly and professional person, and offers great customer service Definitely, we are going back again
My husband and I went to The Dorset this evening because it was such a beautiful sunny Sunday, and we knew we needed to enjoy drinks and snacks on a patio. From the moment we arrived, the manager and team were incredibly accommodating, even finding us the perfect sunny spot. I’ve actually been before with a girlfriend for late-night drinks, and the same manager stood out for being so attentive and kind. I didn’t catch his name, but he’s a darker gentleman with a bright smile who makes you feel truly welcomed. Tonight, our server was a younger man with great hair, and he was excellent as well. We ordered multiple glasses of wine and beer from the happy hour menu (both fantastic), along with three bar bites: the scotch egg, triple-fried fries, and pasties. All were absolutely delicious! Great service, great food, and great drinks—we’ll definitely be back.
Great food and friendly staff. We loved coming here in the evenings after work for something to eat. Coming from Ireland, we were looking for a good Sunday roast and this place has been our favourite in the city- we haven’t stopped recommending it! Always have a great selection of drinks too - the Pimm’s being a favourite of mine. They’re dog friendly on the patio and always give us some water for our pup! Service is excellent, even on busy days they find time to check in. 5/5!
