What a fun night. Went with a group of ladies. There was ukulele evening with Christmas carols it was a lot of fun. It was quite busy. The food was delicious.
Came here to celebrate a birthday. Had never heard of this place before but it was nearby the area we were staying at. The place was pretty busy but not chaotic. There were two other birthday celebrations happening at the same time. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated straight away. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food was also really good- there were 6 of us in our party and we all ordered different dishes- everyone commented on their food and said it was all good. The only loss of one star was when I called to check that my reservation was made- I had booked it online the previous day and had no confirmation- the staff member I spoke with was a little rude about it. They said there was no reservations booked and they were unsure if we could be accommodated. When I also mentioned I had called and left two messages and no one had called me back, they did not respond and said we can accommodate you but there was a bigger party of people that would be coming in after us, to me implying we would have to be quick and eat. I am not one to complain about anything and understood they may be very busy but not calling someone back in relation to a reservation after they leave two voicemails the previous day to me is not a good way to organise anything. Overall the meal made up for this and I will recommend this place to anyone else was who is looking for a chill evening with some good food and general relaxing atmosphere
I would like to say that me and my family have been at the Kingston house at least 5 times and we are never disappointed. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and Krishna the owner is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to all people who want great food and an amazing time to drop by the Kingston house.
Was there for Jays game. Super friendly & warm service made me feel very comfortable. Screen was big enough to enjoy sports game. All the seats were very comfortable as well. They had Bluejays ALDS championship special which was 50% off wings and $2 off for house lager. Such a good deal. Only thing was the hot sauce we ordered for the wing. Personally wished it was not a vinegary Frank hot sauce type of sauce. Enjoyed cauliflower pickles from Mezze Platter ($15) and other items were okay. Would come back for dinner some other time!
I can not truly explain how much I love this place. Each time I go I get amazed by the food and just can’t stop wanting more even when I get full. Every staff member I have interacted with has been very kind and caring. It is quite popular, so I do understand how it can take a bit longer to get the food, but for the quality it’s worth the wait. The interior is amazing to say the least. Well designed. Krishna is also an amazing person, he is very kind and offers us stuff out of the kindness of his heart. I truly love this place and can recommend it to anyone who can make time for a visit to this amazing local place.
We rented the event room downstairs for my husband’s 70th birthday. The room was cosy for our 35+ guests, great for moving around and talking to everyone, the platters were yummy and quickly disappeared. Kevin at the bar provided great drinks, friendly service and was very responsive to our requests. Krishna the owner came and helped out too. Great night and everyone had a blast. Thank you for a perfect evening and local venue!
Great food great service great atmosphere! I loved it here! Food is truly delicious, there is care in the cooking and preparation! Will come back often
