It wasn’t busy, I was the only person there, I ordered a beef bowl. When I chose not to tip on a takeout order, the girl serving me stopped talking to me. When I got home she gave me chicken not beef. I’m pretty sure it was done on purpose since the rest of the ingredients for the standard beef bowl were the same (plantain, black beans, white rice). The plantains were a hit or miss, some were ripe while others were hard and clearly not ripe. I live in the area and have gotten their arepas a few times. It’s one of the few restaurants that offer gluten free options. Unfortunately I won’t be going back, the only time I’ve had good service was when they first opened.

Meh. Les falta sazón, batería y reguetón. The only really good thing was the plantain, but that’s not a compliment as plantain is just good on its own. Everything else had no salt or seasoning. Won't come back.

Wonderful spot! As a celiac that eats gluten free and avoids cross-contaminations, it is rare that I can get a low cost meal on the go. This is a safe place to have a quick, delicious meal, and I think it was only $9! I had the Queen, which had a kind of chicken/mayo filling in the arepa which was really good. They also warmed it up perfectly. If I was interested in a heavier meal I would try their rice/meat bowls, which looked equally delicious. Thanks for a great experience!!

I was really craving a reina pepiada and found this shop on Uber eats. I found what I thought was a deal advertized with buy one get one free for $17 dollars, I thought damn they must be massive for that price. I see now from their menu here its not the price of one, infact 5 dollars more, whatever, but the size of it when it arrived being SO SMALL. It made me mad I paid $17 even if i got one "free". So not only did I feel like I got scammed, The are about the size of my palm. After my first bite I was even more upset to realize the filling of chicken is not mixed with the avocado sauce as its traditional but it was mostly just shredded chicken with a bit of sauce and cheese on the top. The over all flavour was bland and disappointing. I also got the beef empanada which was dry and tasted like it comes from frozen or has been under a lamp for a while. But at least it had more flavor than the arepa. I really wanted to like this place because I love arepas but hopefully they fix these issues.

This is one of the best cuisines I have had in the entire downtown core! I ordered the gluten free arepa with plantains and delicious fillings. It is very tricky for me to find food like this because I am gluten sensitive AND I can have limited flavourings and spice! Guys keep up the great value and muchos gracias!

I got the Queen arepa. Very tasty and fresh but holy moly it’s so small for the price. 10.16! For a taco essentially. It’s a snack, not a meal (would have to get two for that)

Finally, some decently priced arepas. A little on the smaller side, but they are generous with the fillings. I haven't tried the cachapas, so that's what I'll eat next time.
