We had great expectations around this restaurant based on the reviews. So much so we drove over an hour from Halton Hills to try it for my husband's 45th birthday. I will say the food was mediocre at best. The best part of the meal were the appetizers, Empanada's were very nice and so was the provoleta iberica. The Calamari Puttanesca was terrible, overcooked and not at all what was described in the menu. It stated light breading and there was NOTHING in it. We ordered the Parrillada Argentina and the Parilla de mar and it was ok but absolutely nothing like a true Argentine Steak house. The meat came out over cooked, the team was quick to rectify it but side dish was brought that wasn't ordered. We assumed it was part of our veggie order and when the waitress noticed it she then came and took it off the table and said it belonged to someone else. (We had already taken some and she brought it to another table!) I want to highlight that one young man was excellent and I was told he was in training but Andreas was lovely! Back to my final issue... I don't object to 18% gratuity but when the bill was brought over to me the waitress literally stood right next to me while I processed payment...I am not exaggerating when I say she was right over my shoulder the entire time. I am paying a $500 bill and you can't give me the grace to review the bill and put in my secret code? That said, disappointed and perhaps the location further in the city is better but we will not be back.
They charge for water without clarifying and assume an 18% gratuity. Food is nice. Specialty drinks *sangria* have too much ice and pricing in general is inflated compared to the value. But the meat was very well done.
Excellent, fantastic food, service and atmosphere; it truly feels like you are in Buenos Aires!!! The meat is grilled to perfection, the empanada traditional delicious. Everything was perfect!!
We had an outstanding dinner tonight. We started with the octopus and beet salad—both beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the ribeye steak cooked medium-well, and it was spectacular—perfectly tender and juicy, cooked exactly to my liking. Claudio, our server, was exceptional—professional, attentive, and welcoming. He truly made the experience even better. I’ve been here many times for both lunch and dinner, but tonight really stood out as top-notch in every way. Highly recommend!
I wanted to like this place but cannot recommend it. First off...was planning on ordering take out but decided to dine in. That's a different menu and the lowest price entree was twice the price of the take out menu. So they obviously can prepare items from their take out menu but you cannot eat it in the restaurant. Does "Five Easy Pieces" Jack Nicholson scene ring any bells? Since it was my first time trying this place you'd think they'd want me to come back again, right? Show some flexibilty and customer service here and you will be rewarded. But not the case, so I ordered an overpriced entree and was thoroughly dissappointed. Shoulda gone to Eden around the corner. As Arnold didn't say: "I won't be back".
Quality of the food was ok. Steaks are average, desserts are very good. Steaks were rested too long, when food arrived at the table was a bit cold, ordered parrilla argentina, chorizo and ojo de bife, steaks were a bit chewy not much flavor. Waiter was great.
Service was absolutely terrible one of the worst experiences I have ever been apart of in a restaurant the food took forever and for the price was definitely not worth it wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
