Love coming here for lunch and dinner. Service is always wonderful and the food is delicious. I'm never disappointed and leave feeling satisfied and well fed.
Well done! The food is exceptional. Menu is not expansive, yet still offers a variety of dishes. Everything was very well executed. Elk is nicely prepared, as is the duck breast. And oh, the frites are to die for! Service is very courteous as well. Had a wonderful time tonight. Will return next time we're in town.
Great Place! 4 of us went there for dinner on a weekday to celebrate a birthday. Food was excellent! I had the oysters and the elk as a main...fantastic. My only complaint was that the food was not hot (the elk dish) when it was served. It was kind of luke warm.....nonetheless the flavour was excellent and the service was great. Definitely a place we will be coming back to.
4 of us for dinner on a Wednesday night ...the staff were welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door, very knowledgeable about the menu (the descriptive details from our waiter were mouth watering good) and they were extremely attentive throughout the meal. Charcuterie board was delicious, two of us had halibut and two of us had the chicken - both were excellent. The desserts - donuts and a pavlova-type item (sorry - cant remember what it was called) were, in my opinion, not worth the calories - but honestly- because the staff did such a good job, they carried those so-so desserts over the finish line. Highly recommend this place.
Been here twice, once for lunch, then for my wedding anniversary.The devil is in the details, and Woods gets all of them right, then excels a bit more - from ambience to service and, naturally, flavour. I honestly don't know how this place manages to keep such a low profile with such culinary excellence. It easily takes my fine dining top spot in Toronto.
