At first thing sound good and professional but watch out. Committed items are no longer possible and dates slip without notice. I am so luckly didnt sign any contract. Do your homework because anything in writing has no merit

My mother in law has been using Alpine Roofing for almost as long as she's had the house - or as long as they've been around. I kept telling her to stay away from them, because they have extremely bad reviews on other sites. She said she trusted them and that they haven't done her wrong. Fast forward to the April 2018 windstorm - she called them, they came out right away, fixed the roof and went away - as she was covered under her warranty with them. Fast fast forward to May 2018 windstorm - she called multiple times - each time, leaving her name, address and phone number in a voicemail and with someone directly. Both times they "lost" her information and never showed up to fix her roof - 4-5 pieces missing, nothing crazy. She finally got through to someone, only to be told that it'll be a MINIMUM of $500 and that they can send someone over for a quote. She was asking why she would be quoted when she should be under warranty? He said it's not covered. She asked why she covered 4 weeks ago and not today. He said it's not covered. She then said well, you're going to lose clients because I've recommended you and I've used you over decades. He said "have a good day" and hung up. I am astounded that you have such good reviews on here while on other sites, people are expressing the exact same issues. My mother in law is a senior. She lives on a smaller income than you make probably in a day's work. I am astounded that you can try and "cash in" on the May windstorm. How does your warranty vary between storms? Do you just sit there making it up as you go? You've been around for a long time and sadly, people know your name. You take advantage of people and leave them hanging, without a fixed roof because you need to cash in. Stop offering warranty if you aren't going to show up anyway. Or is that your way of making people feel comfortable with your services until you change your mind about them? They'll pay you 6K for a roof only to find out 6 years later that they're not going to have any luck. You should be ashamed of yourselves and have a serious restructuring of your company, since your sense of customer service went out the window a long time ago. Just remember: your customers are your bread and butter. What happens if you lose them all? Or do you have another, larger warranty to offer the new ones only to mess with them later, too? Is this your contingency plan, really, Alpine???!

A BEGINNERS TUTORIAL ON HOW TO LOSE COSTUMERS:I WOULD GIVE THEM A BIG ZERO IF I COULD!!!DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! BECAUSE OF THE RECENT WIND STORM THEY DECIDED TO CHANGE THE WARRANTY TERMS , NOT TO FIX THE SMALL STORM DAMAGE AND TO CHARGE AN OUTRAGEOUS MINIMUM OF $500 TO FIX IT WITHOUT EVEN SEEING IT.A FEW WEEKS AGO THEY DID COME AND FIXED MY ROOF AFTER A MUCH SMALLER STORM , AND TOLD ME THEY CHECKED THE WHOLE ROOF AND IT WAS OK,BUT NOW THEY SAW AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND WANT UNDER WARRANTY COSTUMERS TO PAY EXTRA. HAVE THEY DONE A GOOD JOB INSTALLING THE ROOF,I WOULDN'T NEED THEM NOW !TWO MONTHS LATER THEY ACTUALLY CONTACTED ME AND FIXED MY ROOF!!!I'LL ADD 3 MORE STARS FOR THAT

Absolutely terrible customer service and warranty. I would understand if it were a hurricane or tornado but wind gusts??. Like what does the warranty cover??Three year old roof wind blew off one tile. When I was on the phone with them they didn't even ask how much damage before saying at least 5 hundred to fix. As this wind only affected less than 5% of roofs in my area I think only reason is shoddy workmanship. If anyone ever asks me if I know a roofing company I sure know which one I will NEVER recommend.Wow had to give one star to post, I'd take it back if I could:(And now after reading other peoples terrible reviews I see they did honor other roof's with wind damage prior to the wind gusts on May 4.Aug 3 UpdateOwner thanks me for poor review as all review give them the opportunity to improve. Here's an opportunity for you... honor your work...a roof is outdoor...wind blows and so does your warranty!!

When I called today, they told me the wind damage is not include in the warranty, and they give me a list of what's not include in "warranty" this is the first time I heard about it. I suggest you to put the"exclude" on the invoice. I thought to be in business for that long, they should be more reliable...... I will not use this company again especially my house was the only one that have the missing shingles in the whole row of townhouse.7/5/18 - Update. Why bother to send you any of my information? I called I e mail I ask for help when I need. Why do I even care to send you anything right now? your reputation is ruined. it will not get better just because 2 month later you ask for more information. AND I WILL NOT SUGGEST YOUR COMPANY TO ANY ONE.
