Called looking for cold smoked fish options and received excellent customer service guiding the decision process. Purchased the maple smoked salmon bacon and was delicious, nice thick cuts of seasoned high-quality salmon.
Heard about this place for a while, not sure why I didn’t go in earlier. I finally went in person just to see & get something since checking out their website. Place is clean, the staff is amazing. Mitch helped me, incredible nice & patient. Recommend a few things & I got my salmon. Hands down the best & freshest salmon I’ve tasted. I decided to place an order this week for delivery. I wrote in the notes what I was looking for (salmon again but not the small fillets) they got exactly what I wanted. The process was easy to check out & delivery was affordable. Delivery was same day. Makes my like easier. You get it packages so lovely. Love love the card, I always keep those. & thank you for the sample. It helps me try out things for future purchases. Highly recommend. Just phenomenal. Thank you
Unbelievably fresh seafood! The lobster tail was one of the meatiest I've ever had. The staff gave me tips on cooking and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell.
Very impressed. Delicious products and fantastic customer service. I ordered the citrus candied salmon, however after I placed my order, they called me to tell me they just ran out of stock and if it was ok to postpone my delivery by 2 days, which was fine and I appreciated the phone call. When I received my order, it came perfectly packaged along with a thank you card and a free sample of their smoked sesame salmon in addition to my order. I will be a repeat customer. I love supporting small businesses especially those who put so much thought towards their customers. Thank you to the folks that work there!
What a gem of a fish market, and even better that it's in my own neighbourhood!! The BEST fresh fish and seafood and always fantastic, friendly service from the whole team. They make gorgeous platters to order and the oysters are the best we've ever had.
Anchor Fresh Fish Market was a total power move on our culinary adventure food tour. First, they hit us with oysters so fresh they basically winked at us, then followed it up with candied salmon that straight-up tasted like seafood dessert (who knew the ocean had a sweet tooth?). The place is pristine, the staff knows their stuff, and now I’m low-key considering bringing a cooler bag next time so I can haul half the shop home.
2025 edit: came to this page to give a five star rating and it turns out, I'd already done it. That's how consistently solid this place is. ? I've interacted with at least 3-4 different employees here and each one has been soooo knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Just a great spot all around.
