Great local spot for fresh seafood! Love the fresh arctic char the best and the price is very reasonable. I have stopped buying fish from the grocery store
Bought 2.5 pounds of clams that the store staff hand picked for me. Almost a quarter were dead (open) when I got home (which was immediately after buying them). A good seafood monger would have ONLY hand picked the freshest ones and discard the dead ones. I was so excited to make linguine with clams and was very disappointed when after cooking them, another quarter of them didn’t open!!! So not the freshest clams. Staff was friendly and nice but now I feel like they duped me by selling bad clams.
A warm and cozy place where you can find great tasting fresh good quality seafood. The staff is friendly and generous. This establishment is like finding a pearl in the ocean!!
I got 24 shucked oysters and they charged me $2 per shuck which is ridiculous how expensive that was on top of the price of the oyster. I have been to Coast to coast a few times before and was happy but now I am not. I would like a credit as a result of this as when I phoned in to the owner it was never mentioned to me how much it was going to cost. I am not happy! UPDATE: I got credited the amount back in store. Thank You for the great customer service!
This is a favorite of ours & a go to for all of our seafood. The fish is always so fresh and the family that runs it is always so welcoming. This place is a true gem.
I’m not one to write reviews but I wanted to pass on my recent experience with Ahmad at Coast to Coast Seafood in Toronto so others could benefit. I live in the States and I had called to order crab as a holiday gift for friends 30 + minutes outside of Toronto, not only was the product high quality, it was beautifully packaged and presented by Ahmad himself the very next day. Later that week, my son decided to gift the family a sushi night for the holidays, and we ordered fresh seafood to make the meal. Everything we received was high quality, fresh and delicious. The Hokkaido scallop sashimi was sweet, and firm, the Toro was melt in your mouth delicious! Before my daughter picked the order up, we were waiting on Uni, but when it arrived at Coast to Coast, Ahmad inspected the order and called me indicating he would not sell it to me, and he was sending it back to their supplier. Apparently the quality did not meet his standards! We did get Uni elsewhere, but I definitely prefer to work with Coast to Coast Seafood because it feels like you have a good friend there looking out for your interests! John D
