went in here for the first time and LOVED the veggie falafel. Charlak, the owner, is super friendly and proud of his product. I took one bite and thought WOW this is super flavourful. I do fear this will become an addiction.
Very worst experience to order food from this location i ll comment and give reviews on your all platform. Very smelly food .. rotten veggies omg . Guys please save your money dont even try to go there .2 tiny tiny boxes for 35 $ . Like seriously!!!!
Average, run of the mill, shawarma spot with dry meat. It was filling and was great proportions, so it’ll get the job done in case you’re hungry, but was slathered in sauces as is usually the case when these joints try to hide the dry meat. Seasoning was mid. There was supposed to be (and maybe there was) hot sauce, but it’s either tasteless or it wasn’t added. There are better options on the street.
I oredered the chicken plate. The first thing I noticed was the chicken was dry, cold, and very very shredded, and not like sharwarma style cut. The salad was okay, but the lettuce was cut too thin to be able to grab; didn't really notice any dressing taste either. Restaurant owners need to stop trying to save money by cutting tiny and shredding chicken small. The portion for the price was good, however the flavour was lacking making me not want to return. The garlic sauce had the garlic taste, but again lack in flavour. The hot sauce was good, and had flavour. I gave a 3 because portion and price do matter and this place nailed that; flavours can be fixed.
Tried the Chicken dinner plate. Very average food, like food court quality. Portion is good with salad and rice, plate doesn't comes with drink. Meat is very dry. Flavour is average. Nothing special.
The man who took my order and made my food had a nice attitude and the portion was good, but I ordered a mixed shawarma plate and there was only chicken and I paid extra for the beef. When the man asked me if I want hot sauce I said yes and he told me he already added the hot sauce to the chicken when it was on the grill and was making sure I can handle the heat when I wanted extra hot sauce to top off my plate. Wouldn’t mixed protein have the beef as well? why did he say that it was only added to the chicken? I ate some of the food and it was definitely just chicken… shawarma is something I eat often and I eat meat so I know the difference if it had beef but there was no dark meat in my plate at all. I asked the man if he added beef and it tasted like only chicken and he said mixed is both so of course he did and that he is generous and wouldn’t give any less. He didn’t bother to take a look at my plate to make sure that it wasn’t just one protein, I didn’t want to push it so I just thanked him and left but I wish that there was more honesty.
Standard shawarma shop offering classic fare and fixins. I wanted to enjoy this spot more as I'm always on the look out for great shawarma, but my meal unfortunately fell quite a bit short. I ordered the BOGO chicken on the rocks deal via Uber eats and portion, value, and flavour were all lacking. The entire meal seemed smaller than what other shops would offer for the same price, sauces and chicken were under seasoned, and overall quality felt low for the price. The best part of the meal was probably the rice, which was actually very nicely seasoned and cooked well. I like to support independent and small shops like this, but given how many other shawarma joints there are in the city, I probably won't be ordering again.
