My daughter attended Pokemon and Lego camp this Summer and she said that the Pokemon was the best camp she've gone. Staff were friendly and she is looking forward to going back next Summer.
The owner of this does not care about the kids AT ALL. He only cares about making money and I would not recommend dealing with him at all, ever. After the kids were signed up and paid for the summer, we were all contacted stating that all kids HAD to wear masks the entire day when at camp. Kids haven’t even been wearing masks at school for months, so why would I pay $400 to have my kid wear a mask during his summer. We were given the option of pulling them if we weren’t comfortable with that but with a 25% processing fee. He literally stole $103/family for everyone who didn’t want to pay to force their kids to wear masks during their summer break. It’s disgusting. And at the cost of summer camps in Toronto all ready I’m pretty sure there aren’t a lot of families who are financially able to just donate $103 to this guy’s pockets. Stay away from this man, he doesn’t care about our kids at all. *As you can see, even his response says it all: it’s condescending and doesn’t address the real issue. It’s not about keeping the kids safe! We obviously all want our kids to be safe but for many reasons, we might not want our kids to be forced to be wearing masks for full days anymore. The bottom line is no reason to charge parent $103 as a cancellation fee. It’s excessive and absurd and shows the true motivation of this program.
My kid LOVES this camp. No matter what the program is, they consistently go above and beyond to create a fun, educational, and safe camp for the kids. I love the easy online booking system and their admin team is always so responsive and friendly. As someone who has run camps myself, this camp never ceases to impress! Gold stars!!!
My daughter loves Brick Works Academy. She went three weeks in a row this summer and did different camps each time. She enjoyed them all! The staff is very kind, camp themes are great and the location is very convenient too!
My daughter had a great time at this camp. Really enjoyed both Pokemon and Harry Potter. All the counsellors and staff were very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend it.
