I don't know why this place is so expensive considering the money isn't going to the employees, activities or the food. Not sure how much I can mention about pay/worker treatment but it's definitely unfair. The higher ups, specifically the ones in "program" preach about not using phones, yet I've seen two of them hiding from the kids, scrolling instagram. Reminder that these are the people who are supposed to be TEACHING other employees. The activities are cheap, majority of the art projects are dollar store items -some of them are even questionable safety wise. Lastly, the food is TERRIBLE. It's mushy and clammy, yet also chalky and filled with chunks. Oh, and if your kid has a dietary restriction, expect them to get their meal absurdly late or so far removed from the food everyone else eats to the point it's comparable to fried chicken wings vs a slab of bread and a chicken leg. I personally think that this place is nothing but an overpriced day camp that just happens to be renting an expensive school. [Photo included is of the pasta they served for a month straight]

the ivy is the best camp I've ever bin to its such a warm and inclusive environment the staff are all accommodating and as someone with disability's they are fully willing to do what ever they can to help facilitate a campers needs and safety they ivy has great activates and very fun special days form dance party's to having special animals come to have nice sized portions of surprise food they are extremely parent friendly having roughly 6 office staff ready to answer your questions and concerns there are people after many years who I still talk to and some who I have gone through the ivy with over the years they all so value the little moments the funny stories that will live on in capers heads forever as they have with me for instance I have a memory of seeing some of the unite head jump in the pool with grown up diapers I can honestly say with full confidants you will have a magical summer

We have been sending our kids to the Ivy since it opened and are always impressed with how they go above and beyond to make the summer an incredible experience. Our older son enjoys a combination of sports and creative activities, and he loves having choice over his schedule. Both of our kids have passed swimming badges over the summer and have become strong swimmers from the daily lessons - they say it’s their favourite activity. Now that we are back in the school year, we miss sending them off knowing there will be great lunch options waiting for them. Our kids loved the salad bar and learned to eat a ton of new foods because of the many options. They have always had amazing counsellors who really get to know them and care for them. I’m always impressed by the level of communication, standard counsellor phone calls before camp and a week in. We are already waiting for next summer!

The Ivy Day Camp has consistently exceeded our expectations summer after summer, making it THE ONLY choice for my family’s summer experience! My son has been a camper at The Ivy since day one and his enthusiasm for returning each year speaks volumes about the camp’s outstanding quality. He has convinced his younger sister that it’s “THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!” and she will be joining him for the full summer next year! The head staff at The Ivy are truly remarkable. They are incredibly proactive and responsive, addressing any questions/concerns promptly and with great care. Their dedication to creating a positive environment is evident in everything they do. They are not just administrative figures but each one is actively involved in ensuring the camp operates smoothly and that each child’s individual needs are met. Similarly, the counselors at The Ivy are fantastic! They are not only incredibly communicative and caring but also go above and beyond to make sure each child feels valued and engaged. They put effort into knowing each camper, their likes & dislikes and make a unique effort to connect with them and make the feel valued. Their enthusiasm and support create a nurturing environment that helps the kids thrive. The programs offered are age-appropriate and engaging for all age groups. My son started in the youngest age group and is now in Senior camp – I have witnessed how the program at The Ivy shifts and matures as the campers do and so do their interests. There is an abundance of activities for each age group that are both fun and suited to their developmental stage. Rock climbing , magic, woodworking, soccer, tennis, trampoline, photography, etc. – these are just a few of the incredible activities that campers participate in on a daily basis. This thoughtful approach to programming ensures that every camper, regardless of age, is entertained and challenged in the right way. Another highlight of The Ivy is its exceptional swimming program. Campers swim daily and my son has gained significant confidence in the water and developed numerous new skills every year. The instructors are skilled and supportive, making the swimming lessons both enjoyable and educational. The addition of towel service is a thoughtful touch that adds to the convenience and comfort of the camp experience. I would be remiss if I also didn’t mention the food - The Ivy excels in providing healthy food and snack choices. There is a carefully curated menu provided to parents at the beginning of the summer that offers a variety of options, catering to all types of picky eaters, ensuring that every child has something they enjoy! Overall, The Ivy Day Camp offers an exceptional experience with its incredible head staff and counsellors, and engaging programs. It’s a place where kids not only have fun but also build confidence and develop new skills. We wholeheartedly recommend The Ivy Day Camp to any family looking for a top-notch camp experience - I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else!

The best imaginable children’s day camp, period. My daughter has joyous wonderful experiences every day. From delicious healthy meals and snacks to daily swimming lessons, as well as tennis, soccer, magic, cooking and art, the fun is endless. Most important, the counsellors are genuine, caring, supportive, of each child. Safety and security are evident from drop-off to pick-up. The campus at Havergal College is the perfect venue. Never a dull moment!!

The Ivy is the best, most friendly and welcoming place! Working there last summer was the best experience. Every staff, camper, and head staff have the biggest smiles on their face while at camp. This is truly the best place to spend your summers. Can't wait for summer 2022!

The Ivy is such a fantastic place to work and spend my summers! The community of staff, campers and parents are is special. The 8 weeks spent at The Ivy last summer were some of my favourite and I cannot wait to return for summer of 2022! I highly recommend The Ivy!
