Sunnyside Up has been a life changing experience for my son. Adam met George last summer at Sunnyside Up Day Camp and it has been pure sunshine and happiness for Adam since. The camp offers a very creative, fun filled, where lasting friendships are made. I am so grateful, as well, for George's idea to implement outstanding and fun PA days and holiday fun, too.
This was our 3rd summer at SunnySideUp camp and my son loved is. There is always lots of activities planned that’s fun and the camp directors are always positive and approachable.
My child's experience at Sunnyside up has been exceptional. The counselors are wonderful and the camp program offers opportunities for growth and development while maintaining a fun and safe environment for the kids! My niece is also coming all the way from Korea for a 2nd year to attend this camp!
I had wrote a different review before but it was incorrect. While the staff were polite and worked to help the children get interested it wasn't what I called 100% fun. Had this place in 2022 and 2023 and from what I remember hearing the camp doesn't have many activities. Also enforced a snack policy which I find a little disturbing, not many people eat 2 snacks a day. Plus I believe they had favoritism over the little children because my kids say that the little ones "always won." Pretty pricy for this quality too, this is why Active Kids Zone is my next best choice.
One of the best camps in GTA! Not only summer camp, but also March-break camp, PA day camp etc. My child had so much fun and had made new friends in the camps! Staff are very friendly and helpful, and willing to listen to our needs. Definitely recommend to all parents!
This summer will be my second year working with Sunnyside Up Camp. In the past I worked with other camps but Sunnyside Up is definitely the best. The environment is significantly better, the activities are more fun and most importantly, the campers are happier. Sunnyside up is unique in the sense that each week the camp follows a different theme such as space week, dinosaur week and underwater week. The camp incorporates arts and crafts, science, and sports in their schedule. Once a week Sunnyside Up takes their campers on a field trip (examples: Ripleys Aquarium, High Park, Science Centre) which is probably the highlight of their week. I highly recommend signing up your kids (age 4-12) before all the spots fill up!
My kids, (son 10, daughter 8) have been enrolled at Sunnyside Up during the summer months for the last two years. The creative day to day activities ensure the kids stay mentally engaged so they are ready to learn when the school year comes back around in September. Price per week is very affordable and the staff is incredible! I highly recommend!
