I ordered food here and stepped out to grab coffee next door. When I came back, my order wasn’t ready, so I started drinking my coffee and eating my treat. The person who works here told me that outside food isn’t allowed. It’s just weird since I’m a paying customer.
I’d gladly give this place 100 stars if I could! The kimbap is exceptionally well crafted with every roll showcasing fresh, high quality ingredients and remarkable balance in flavour. The care and consistency demonstrated by the staffs are truly impressive and their courteous service makes each visit a pleasure. This is, without hesitation, one of the finest Korean food experiences I’ve had in Toronto. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
This is a regular place I go to. No issues with the food, pretty consistent in terms of quality. However noticed a few times that staff have gloves on, but they touch everything else while preparing food (e.g. cashier, delivery parcels, doors etc.) which raises hygiene concerns. Service is great and a it's a nice grab and go place. I would still recommend Dongrami if you are looking for decent gimbap.
I was really looking forward to visiting, but it ended up being disappointing. Most of the kimbap rolls were falling apart, and compared to other review photos, the quality seemed quite different.
I visited Dongrami today and the person who was working was so kind! Also, the kimbab was fresh and delicious. This is the my go-to place when I crave for Korean kimbab. Will visit there again for sure!
Very good! Great to have a better option than what’s available at the UHN/Mars building food court. One roll will be enough for lunch or dinner. Dynamitr roll was good. Will go back!
Such a great kimbap! Me and my husband really enjoyed it! Finally some genuine kimbap that I can eat in downtown without going to North York! I Will definitely try with some soup next time too. *update as of today I didn't like their bogo classic kimbap, the rice was so hard I almost felt like my jaws would dislocated and their tuna kimbap was too salty. So sad its not the same
