The head artist definitely has talent — but unfortunately, not the professionalism to match. • Didn’t even finish my tattoo. • Rushed the work the moment he got paid (and it ended up different from the original design). • Ignored my messages for almost a year. • Only accepts cash — I hope CRA looks into that. Overall, not recommended. Save your money and go somewhere reputable like Lamanigance or Heartless.
I had a great experience getting my tatt with Lenssa! From when I first inquired, to actually getting it done, she was super nice and made it easy. The place is a bit hidden but I liked the vibe of it - would recommend!
I made a tattoo on the back of the forearm in the style of realism, I want to express my great gratitude to Liza (inst: llila.ink) The service is very good, the masters easily communicating , everything is sterile, safe, the guys are pro in their field?
Working on a leg sleeve with Yuri and I've posted the results so far. The amount of effort he puts into the project to make sure its exactly what you're looking for is incredible. I've had the pleasure of chatting with the other artists as well and everyone there are good people. Yuri even got me lunch and accommodated my schedule. We're about 40% done and I'm looking forward to finishing this project. Huge thanks to everyone at hype Tattoo for an amazing experience. See you all again for the next few sessions.
I spent a full day with Yuriy and he was brilliant. Tattoos are priceless, but what they charge is fair for the quality of service. I’d gone cheap before and ended up with a budget artist who ignored my brief and put a cartoonish armour design on my shoulder and upper arm, like it had been drawn on with a marker. I was furious and thought I’d need painful, expensive laser removal. Yuriy looked at it and said he could fix it and give me the real metallic effect I wanted. I chose to trust him, though I did not expect miracles because I could not see how solid black lines could become soft grey shading. He proved me wrong. Now it looks like actual metal and there is no sign of a cover up. I cannot wait for him to finish my arm sleeve and leg sleeve. I only wish I’d found him sooner so I would not have wasted money and gone through needless pain.
When you book with this studio and the artist cancels on you the day of the appointment, just so you know, the shop will NOT refund you the $100 deposit you paid. They will gaslight you by telling you that refund takes 5-10 business days when you paid the deposit with interac, and refunds are immediate. When you send a DM to the CEO (Diemusenko Bohdan) asking for your money, they will ignore you and tell you “If you message me every day, the money won’t come any faster.” Kindly send me my deposit. And if they call this fake, like they do with other negative reviews, I’ll start posting screenshots. Update: Now I’m being threatened with legal actions because I requested for a refund on my deposit for a service I never had. Please note: I was at the shop at the time of my appointment and the artist was not at the shop. I offered to wait but they said they won’t be at the shop that evening. I met with the CEO, showed proof that stated the size of the tattoo will be determined on the appointment day, showed proof that stated the artist only had 2hrs for a session that’ll take 3-4hrs. The CEO told me on the day of the appointment that I’ll get a refund of my deposit and I should send my email address to his IG, which I did immediately. I am unsure why this is happening, I assumed this was a straightforward resolution, especially after speaking with the CEO. I am truly disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. Anyway, book at your own risk.
Went in to get a tattoo with a friend and we were both immediately impressed by how cool and well-designed the studio was. I got my tattoo done by Lenssa, who was incredibly sweet and patient—she happily re-positioned the stencil multiple times until I was completely happy with it. The whole experience was smooth, and I’m honestly so in love with how my tattoo turned out. The service was amazing, and I’d 100% recommend this place. My friend and I are already planning to come back for our next tattoos!
