Found this place on Google. Ask for Frankie - she’s so communicative, honest and won’t recommend anything that you don’t need. Yes, it costs - but I felt so confident and trust in the way Frankie worked, it was worth it. Also, she was excellent in accommodating me last minute - same day vaccination. Highly recommend
The worst part of my experience with Summit Health was how utterly unnecessary the entire situation was. The issue at hand could have been resolved so easily with basic customer service principles—things that any reputable organization should have as a standard. A bit of transparency, a willingness to listen, and an ounce of flexibility could have made all the difference. Instead, I was met with cold, robotic responses that dismissed my concerns as if my experience was irrelevant. When I raised a simple question, instead of finding a solution or even acknowledging the oversight, the representative hid behind “policy” without offering any alternatives, adjustments, or empathy. It’s baffling because any well-trained customer service team should know that the point of policies isn’t to dismiss people—it’s to ensure consistency and fairness while serving the customer’s needs. A simple explanation, an apology for the lack of clarity, or any indication of care would have gone a long way. But none of that was offered. Instead, I felt like I was navigating a bureaucratic system designed to make patients feel small, not supported. Healthcare organizations, especially, should understand that patients often come to them in vulnerable states, expecting care and understanding, not callous rule enforcement. Policies are essential, of course, but what’s more essential is the humanity behind them. A compassionate organization would empower its team to listen, empathize, and find solutions within their guidelines. At Summit Health, the response I received was rigid and transactional—completely devoid of basic customer service principles like flexibility or active listening. It’s also disheartening that a simple addition to their website or appointment guidelines could have prevented all of this. Basic transparency around their policies, clearly outlined in advance, would save both patients and staff from unnecessary friction. Instead, they chose a reactive, dismissive approach that prioritized deflection over resolution. In a healthcare setting, this lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for the patient experience is not only unprofessional but entirely unacceptable. This entire interaction left me feeling undervalued and unheard, when it could have easily been a positive experience with a few simple steps. Summit Health’s failure to meet even the most basic standards of customer service reflects a lack of commitment to their patients’ well-being. It’s profoundly unfair to ask people to trust their health to an organization that treats them as mere numbers rather than humans in need of care. This wasn’t just an oversight—it was anoutright failure to uphold the values any patient-centered organization should embody.
Offered typhoid pills on-site by nurse but found out later the price paid was more than double the pharmacy price ( $90 vs$41) . Called customer service, but told basically tough luck and buyer beware. Definitely do not recommend Summit !! Go elsewhere.
I recently visited Summit Health for a TB test and had a very positive experience. The process was smooth, efficient, and handled with great care. Special thanks to the lady who administered the test—she was kind, professional, and made the whole process comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing similar services.
"I highly recommend" Summit Health Travel Clinics. I had an amazing experience with them. Their customer service is second to none, especially the manager Miss Khaoula, who was very professionnel at explaining the positive side of me having the vaccine of yellow fever before traveling. Second Review I gotta tell, I came to Toronto again this week of november 2024, & I had to do some medical check ups, so I went for the second time to the clinic, oh dear I'm satisfied & thrilled by the service, thank you again Khaoula & the rest of the team
Efficient, helpful, informed Nurse Practitioner who gave me excellent advice on things I hadn't even thought of in terms of preparing for travel to Egypt and Africa. Would highly recommend this clinic. Many thanks.
