The waxbar has a policy where the employee does not leave the room when you undress. They look in the corner, but they turn around at any moment. They ask that you wipe before they do the service, like in any other salon, but then the employee turns around and talks to you while you are wiping. There is no privacy whatsoever. This is an intimate and delicate service; however, even at the doctor’s, they allow you some privacy. I was very disappointed and asked that they provide some privacy to the client, but I was told this is the policy. I would only recommend it to people who have no issue wiping themselves in front of someone. I gave two stars because the service at the end was well done.

Great, experienced staff! Manali is incredible, but I recently was also helped by other staff and they’re all awesome - and they make sure to put your needs and wants first!

I went in today for an eyebrow thread at the yorkville location, and unfortunately when confirmed I was just getting a clean up done I left with a completely different shape and thin eyebrows. Would not recommend for threading. :(

Sara was AMAZING! I have gotten bikini waxes/brazilians at other places and even other waxon locations, and never received as good service as I did here. Sara really knows what she is doing, and she made me feel so comfortable. My waxes with Sara have been significantly less painful than previous waxes, and i have seen such great results. She is so kind, friendly, and overall amazing!! I have recommended her to all of my friends, and it is because of her that i signed up for the monthly membership at this location.
