I had an absolutely horrible experience at this store. I went in hoping to find a gift for my mom, but the woman working there was incredibly rude from the moment I walked in. She repeatedly blocked me from looking at items and even closed off the sections I was looking at when I moved towards them. Then, very abruptly she announced that she had an appointment coming in and I needed to leave. I’ve never been treated like that in any store before. It was an upsetting experience, and I won’t be returning or recommending this shop to anyone.

I had such a great experience here with my sister. The selection was beautiful and timeless! The owner is very friendly and helpful and we got to talk a bit about the jewelry and had some small talk. I’m not sure about the previous reviews but she was quite friendly from the get-go. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for vintage jewelry in downtown!

If you’re a person of color, think twice before visiting. Be prepared to be treated with suspicion rather than as a customer. I’ve visited countless antique and estate stores, but this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. Prices are inconsistent, the owner is dismissive when asked for help, and suddenly there are “no keys” available to open items you’re interested in. It’s poor business practice to discourage browsing in a shop that relies on curiosity and discovery. Judging by her selective responses, only replying to positive reviews, it’s clear she’s aware of these issues and chooses to ignore them. It’s her store, and she can run it as she wishes, but potential customers should know what to expect before wasting their time.

I usually don't write reviews, but I’ve been to this shop four times, and all four times have been awful. The owner is VERY rude and doesn’t let you take more than 5 minutes to look around. I understand that it’s a small space, it’s meticulously curated, and the items are expensive, but she ushers you out every time. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that she sees people of colour and instantly thinks you are stealing (all 3 times me and different friends of mine have gone in.) Today the worst incident happened, we were all looking at jewelry when one of my friends came up to the platform she borderline yelled at us to ALL leave because “there’s a 2 person limit” Then, then 4 white girls walked on up and she didn’t care at all. The owner also guesses all the prices and inflates them depending on how you look. I was interested in buying rings and she shut me down and literally told me to leave after I wanted to purchase a $20 ring and $60 crucifix, she said “OKAY BYE” and ran me out of the register area. Keep in mind this was 4 hours before closing… I’m so saddened to write this because the shop is beautiful, I’ve always wanted to purchase something there (I keep thinking it’ll get better) but the owner never ever seems to want to be welcoming or actually help you with anything, only watches you like a hawk and doesn’t help with prices at all. It feels like such an unsafe environment every time.

I had such a lovely experience at this antique shop! The selection of brooches and jewelry is beautiful, so many unique and timeless pieces to choose from. The owner was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. You can really tell they care about their customers and their collection. A true hidden gem for anyone who loves antiques!

I visited old times antiques yesterday, got antique vintage umbrella!, love that beautiful antique lighting, and I love green and yellow light very narrow walk in !❤️

beautiful store with beautiful antiques!! owner was kind and patient and helped me find what i was looking for. it’s a small shop so only 2 people can be on the top floor at once and she does watch you but that’s to be expected with a shop like this. awesome experience i will be back!

Thanks, Olivia! I'm happy you understand that given the tight space that not everyone can fit and won't get offended if asked to wait. We hope to see you soon!
