Held a work event here. Great selection of new and vintage pinball. Driving games, shooting games, stand up arcades & more. Clean and well run. Thanks!
More of a social outing than you might expect, I've invited friends here and I find us drifting apart to play our own games, then coming together again to play somewhat competitively. This is a well run place, by pinball fans with a good heart. You'll spend 2 hours here and barely realize it.
Has a nice selection of shmups despite seemingly not being advertised on their site (besides the Exa Arcadia machine, which is great with SDOJ and Aka To Blue!), only being referred to as a "God of Game" 2-player candy cab. Once inside it's at the back right of the location. There's plenty of classics to choose from, including many CAVE games (Donpachi, Dodonpachi, Dodonpachi DOJ, Espgaluga, Guwange, Progear, Ketsui). I think I also saw Batrider, 194x series, and many more. Would love to see some Treasure titles in the lineup, or the rarer CAVE titles like Futari or Ibara. Only issue is that I'm unsure if it's me, but the cab hardware might be a bit underpowered for these games because it felt like there might be some input lag. Also, the firmware is a bit finicky with how Freeplay works. Oh, and there's pinball too, I guess. ;)
Fabulous selection of pinball machines. All mint condition and high end. Would love to see a bigger selection of drink choices. Possibly serving mixed drinks in future. The owner Steve is super nice and great to chat with if you're an arcade pinball nerd like me! Will definitely come again for the high end pinball machines alone!
Great place to lose yourself in some awesome pinball & video games. The machines are cleaned and taken care of, so that makes the experience even better.
Lots of places to play pinball in Toronto but this place takes the experience to a whole other level. It is no wonder people travel here just to play. The owner is great to talk to about all things pinball too. Well worth the price. You can find tables here that are unique to Canada. Really good selection of arcade games too. Update: they seem to be selling off some of the pinballs and many are turned off/not functioning correctly. Still the best place to play. Most of the Sterns are tip top (and premium or LE). My strong advice is get here and enjoy while you can.
Came to the bar for an event a friend was hosting. I little more than halfway through the event I asked the bartender for a glass of water. He outright refused saying that they do not serve water for free. We argued about it for several moments until things became heated. I was kicked out of the bar and was threatened with police action if I didn't leave fast enough. Overall a cool spot if you like pinball but a horrible bartender.
