I'm older, love quality electronic music and have been in Toronto's club scene for a good while. Bambi's is one of the few dance venues in the city where I never feel out place when I walk through the door. An intimate room with a clear and powerful sound system, driving a fun, diverse, mature and respectful crowd, with promoters who bring in DJs that you'll rarely hear elsewhere in the city. A lot of thought and intent has gone into curating the experience here, on par with spaces you'd expect to find in Europe and NYC. Highly recommended.
Very limited choice of drinks. Service was more than ordinary, waited 20mins for a beer while the barman was drinking shooters with his buddy. The music is really good.
one of my favourite venues in the city… but they like to kick people out without hearing both sides of the story…… had an incident with a random aussie dude who came up to me on the dance floor with false understanding…… yet I was thrown out for standing my ground…. embarrassment from the establishment and the security in a city that claims to represent diversity and inclusion!!!!
had a nice time here, and they're open late, unfortunately i couldn't thoroughly enjoy myself due to a friend being unreachable, apparently slept through the event and left me stranded (i'm from Hamilton), the DJs were really good that night (fri june 28/24) , a blend of industrial and minimal techno. looking forward to future visits when i'm in town. bartender noticed i was nodding off at one point (embarrassing, i wasn't trashed i was just getting tired) and they prodded me and gave me a glass of water.
Cute intimate spot to dance to good music! Idk why the bouncers have an attitude though lol and cover is unreasonably expensive for a venue/bookings like this tbh. And it’s cash only with no working atms within the blocks
You'll find all walks of life here; shapes, sizes, sexuality, and color. It's a club not for anyone in particular, but everyone in particular. It's a beautiful thing. And yet it's really about the music at its core. The selection and talent here is cutting edge.
This is a fairly unremarkable underground bar on King - until the music starts. Having renovated during the pandemic, Bambi's has a Function One sound system with really great sound, and great promoters to provide the music. Do not miss out on any Hypnotic Mindscapes event here, they're true Toronto flavor, and one of the best!
