I didn’t really vibe with this bar. Went with my friends for their Halloween party and dropped $30 on a ticket. Getting in was easy: doors opened at 10pm, no issues with the line, security, or tickets. The music was all throwbacks, which made me realize I’m just not into throwbacks at all for dancing. On top of that, they cut the music for about an hour to run a costume contest, which killed the energy. The highlight of the night was definitely the drag performance by Ayah Conic, she was amazing. But after that, my group and I ended up leaving a little after midnight. Overall, I don’t think this is a bad bar/club. Honestly, it feels like the perfect spot if you’re 19–23 and just starting to explore nightlife with your friends. Their drink menu was clear and straightforward, making it easy to order a mixed drink. Plus, it’s walking distance from Union Station and has a chill, non-intimidating vibe (great if you’re feeling nervous about going out). For me though, it’s not somewhere I’d come back to. Still, I’m glad I gave it a try.
Hailey is amazing!!!! Very nice to customers and told us about the deals and everything!!!! I love her ❤️ bar cathedral is so fun! Definitely coming back
Nice vibe with the connection to the Irish bar next door, but the music is very commercial with quick transitions, and the place gets packed, making it hard to move or dance. Drinks are pricey, beers are served in cans despite the nice décor, which feels cheap. Security is solid, overall an okay spot.
Came by on a long weekend for a comedy show being held at the front of the restaurant. I arrived at 9:30 PM and asked if I could order a few bar snacks before the show started. I was told the kitchen was closed even though online says it closes at 9:45. It’s really disappointing, especially considering you’re hosting a late-night event on a long weekend. Not sure why the kitchen would shut down so early. I came hungry and left hangry.
I call to get some information and the lady cuts the call. I call again and she gives me some excuse like « oh the line is cutting off » and then cuts the call. Extremely rude.
Sabrina AND Maddy was amazing. Best server in this funky place. Even better than the GM AND SHE WAS FANTASTIC. 56$/person after multiple shots and drinks
Good vibes! Attended a friend performing this one night. The lighting is great but if the bar has a mixing artist, they really don't know how to master live voice-overs, the vocals were sometimes very much drowned out by the amped instruments. Shots were very expensive given the kind of establishment. Other drinks were decently priced. The bartenders didn't attend with care or smile at all, there was no rush at the bar, they passed the machine, ran away, slid the drinks, started cleaning things (10pm), so I didn't feel as welcome at the bar. There is a dance floor in the middle which could've been utilized for that event but I suppose the event warranted there to be 'attendees' who were there to observe their friends/ family perform. I though it would've been better to have the dance floor open near the stage. Decent vibes all in all. Will visit again.
