Went there on a Friday night, hard to find cause it’s in a back alley. It’s so hot in that that little place so me and my friends we stepped out for some fresh air and were drinking behind the alley completely away from the bar closer to this other studio in the alley. The Asian lady (assuming she’s part of the management) came out and crashed out on us for drinking way way way outside the bar? Made us toss away our drinks and was super rude She was like it’s disrespectful to drink outside when their bar is located right in the corner ummm like what? My friends literally had a booth and bought 4 bottles and if ya’ll still not making the quota for the night it’s a you problem. Her attitude was uncalled for, her dumping out our drinks was out of line cause we weren’t even in their property !!!
We held our wedding celebration at Bar Dem and I couldn't be happier with hosting it here. We wanted a casual event for 140 people with cool vibes and Bar Dem delivered. The small bites & drinks were amazing, sad that I didn't get a chance to eat more. Our guests loved the Old Hanoi (Old Fashioned). Staff were up to the task of serving our event and went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of. Should get married again and do round two here.
I went to BardemTO on Sunday for the I Love 80s & 90s party, and overall, it was a fun night out! The venue itself is super cute—very bohemian vibes with a spacious layout. The bar prices were also pretty reasonable, which is always a plus. That said, one major issue stood out: the ventilation. It honestly felt like a sweat box. There wasn’t a huge crowd, but enough people were dancing and having a good time that the space quickly became overheated. It felt like there was no proper air circulation. Even if the air conditioning was on, the heat coming in through the skylight-style windows made the space almost unbearable at times. Still, I give props to the vibe and aesthetic of the place. I would consider going back—but only if they improve the AC or find a way to air the place out better, like keeping some doors open. A cool party spot, but it definitely needs better airflow to match the energy!
Bardem gave us more than just a space — they gave us a platform. As Trekk Entertainment, we’re all about building something real through music and community, and Bardem welcomed that vision with open arms. They allowed us to showcase the sounds we love and create a vibe that truly resonated with the crowd. Their team supported us from start to finish, and the energy in the room was exactly what we hoped for — authentic, warm, and alive. It’s rare to find a venue that believes in your purpose as much as you do. Grateful to Bardem for helping us bring our vision to life. Much love to the Owners and family of Bardem!!!
This place is a lot of fun, especially on K-pop nights! The music is always great, the energy is high, and the crowd is super lively. It’s a great spot to dance and enjoy the night if you love K-pop. The only downside is that the bottles are really expensive, so be ready for that if you’re planning to get a table. Other than that, it’s a fun place to hang out and enjoy the vibes!
We were informed of a mandatory coat check, which already kind of sucks but then were supposed to find out there was an expensive cover on top of that. Definitely not worth it for us
It was easy to get in from the back at DZO, super friendly staff with a great variety of music from the DJs ~ definitely wanna come back for the discounted drinks and services! Lovely people and atmosphere 100% recommend for a nice night out with friends.
