We stopped by this café today and ordered two coffees and a sandwich. The total came to about $25, we included a 15% tip, which we follow as a ritual. What was disappointing, though, was the customer service. Our waitress didn’t smile or show any warmth at any point during the interaction. We make coffee at home the reason we go to cafés is for the atmosphere, presentation, and good service. One of those was definitely missing today. If the issue is burnout or morale of your employee, maybe investing a bit more into staff wages or training could make a real difference. A little friendliness goes a long way.
This cafe bar is quite sophisticated in terms of food, drinks and atmosphere, but it's definitely not too pricey or pretentious. I had a chocolate croissant, an espresso and a few drinks whilst waiting for my friends. I recommend their espresso martini! Avi makes it really well!
The food and drink was great. Had an amazing matcha and breakfast here. Only downside is another customer was very loudly saying homophobic and racist language, including slurs, and wasn't asked to leave - which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. It's expensive, but a nice treat.
Great for - good coffee, matcha, cocktails - soft, plush, polished vibe. - WFH breaks (good Wifi and plenty power outlets but too loud for long, important video mtgs) - 1-1 meetups Prema is my little pocket of soft romance in the city. I go here to catch a breeze, sip on a good cuppa and soak in a cozy environment that's easy on the senses. Love the staff, milk options, silverware, thanks for keeping it kind and classy.
A Hidden Gem! Was looking for a coffee spot nearby to get some work done and stumbled across this! The service was super kind, helpful and efficient, and everything I tried—the turkey sandwich, americano, and matcha latte—was spot on. The atmosphere had the perfect vibe to focus and be productive. The big open windows let in a nice breeze and natural light, which made it feel fresh without needing to sit outside. I need their playlist bc they had some nice throwbacks! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
Stay away from the matcha strawberry drink.. it was honestly waste of money and I regret ordering it. No matcha flavour and the stuff they put on top tasted artificial. Also the temperature of the drink was weird.. not hot not cold.. sorry..
We accidentally stumbled upon Prema before attending a performance at the Campbell House. A comfortable hidden spot that is quaint with scrumptious options. Love the open atmosphere. My matcha latte was one of the best I've ever had and their Ferrero cookies - delicious! The perfect spot to chill and relax after a nice winter's walk. We're eager to return in the near future.
