Probably my favourite dive bar you can find in Toronto. The place looks a little scary at first but once you walk in the atmosphere is amazing and the people there are super friendly.
Recently came by with some friends for a double birthday. We were loud and obnoxious yet polite and friendly, the staff were so kind and handled our debauchery with professionalism. It was good times had by all, and my first time there. Thanks again! Dive bar royalty! Dear Owner, very sorry to hear about Gordon. I am unware of their whereabouts but I can definitely check in with the others just in case. Hope they return home soon. :)
Bartender with the red scraggly beard laughs when I ask for diet Sprite (I’m diabetic), then won’t let me take my drink to the ATM while I get cash (just didn’t want to leave my drink unattended). Guess he’s insecure about something.
If you want to instantly feel like part of the family, they've got you. No need for pretense here. Great bartenders, amazing bar mom, fantastic food & popups, great drinks/tall can selection, and, of course awesome DJs. Oh yeah, and a great set of values on this bar too. Everyone's neighbour.
A great, easy, loud, fun bar! Awesome staff, lots of cheap drinks, and the hot dogs (meat or vegan) are $4(!), big and exactly what you want (you want hot dogs)
Dive bar with bar games.. I mean, best for college/ uni students.. Fun place, nothing fancy. Chill vibe, good for like 2 hours in one of those bar hopping nights you might have.
Probably my favourite local. Good beer selection, great interior design, pinball and pool and always a weird movie running on the screen. Comfortable place for a drink on your own if that's where you're at, too. Sometimes there's simple food on offer but generally you can bring your own if you're hungry.
