Helped me pick out a bike lock for my needs and was very knowledgeable and professional. Then installed my lock and tuned up my bike for me, couldn't be happier with the service, will be coming back for any bike related needs

There are many good bike shops in Toronto, but Liberty stands out amongst the best. Ed is approachable, honest, and extremely knowledgeable, and you can fully trust that you aren't being upsold on work or gear that you don't need. The quality of work is top-notch, and I've never seen faster turnaround times anywhere else (they finished a brake bleed in 2 hours when several other shops in the area quoted 2+ weeks). It's now the only shop I bring my bikes to.

Liberty Cyclery is run by Ed Tsui, one of the most knowledgeable mechanics around. He's been wrenching on bikes for ages and has seen everything, but his special sauce is the PHD level of detailed information he retains. On top of that, he's friendly and honest. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend you think twice before taking your bike in for tune-up. My bike left in a worse condition than it went in. Now my front brakes periodically jam, and my peddle falls through when cycling. Neither of these issues were present before the tune-up. Now I can't stand up when cycling uphill in case my peddle falls through, and there is no resistance--which twice almost got me into an accident. The worst part is that I told the tech not to rush the job (this was during a holiday rush) since I didn't need the bike in a hurry. But he churned out the job in two days and now I have a dangerous, and defective bike.

Great shop, Jake helped me get a surly disc trucker that I thoroughly enjoy. We had some issues getting the frame and Jake made it right... 5 stars for you guys. Thanks so much Chris

Charged me 150$ for cables and installation a few months ago. I thought it was a bit overpriced at the time until I had to change my cables a few months later. Turns out they installed shimano cables in my campy shifters... took me an hour to get them out.

One of the best bike shops in the west end...that they're able to turn around bike repairs quickly with top notch mechanics says something about the entire culture.
