The shop is filled with items from wall to wall, giving it a cozy and slightly nostalgic feel. It has a charming, retro atmosphere that’s fun to explore — I can imagine kids would have a hard time leaving once they step inside! Unfortunately, they didn’t have the specific item I was looking for, but the woman working there was very friendly and even helped me look for what I needed. She made the experience really pleasant overall.
such a lovely store!! the owner is SO lovely and helpful. been coming here for the cutest stocking stuffers, tiny gifts, jewelry, and presents forEVER!!
My daughter and I love this store. I’m always able to find a Jellycat here to celebrate special occasions and staff is friendly. My only critique would be the fact that they don’t put items in a bag or any care into the item once it’s sold. Almost all the small boutique shops in the Toronto east area package up jellycats in a free gift bag with tissue and ribbon (lil peeps and snug on the danforth and Ella minnow) or they wrap them in wrapping paper (swag sisters). I’ve even been to a location that talks to you like you’re adopting the Jellycat as they wrap it up (Bradshaws). After my recent spend on one Jellycat for over $100 I had to purchase a bag so I could gift it:( I was happy that they did offer Jellycat gift bags though that cost about $5?
This is one of the most wonderful shops you could ever stumble upon. We’ve been shopping here pretty much since they opened and each time we always find what we were looking for plus some extra wonderful treats.
Ordered for a pickup, very quick and order was ready within the 2 hours. Didn’t realize the size of one of the items, left the store for a second after buying another item and was told if I want to return there would be a restocking fee. Was pretty annoyed since I barely left the store and had already purchased another item
a lovely neighbourhood shop with so many treasures inside! if you are a fan of Jellycat stuffies (and other soft toys) it is a perfect place for you. Also cups, postcards, jewellery, socks, stationery and the usual gift shop fare. Definitely a great place to buy a unique present. the staff is friendly but gives you time and space when you are browsing.
Terrible Experience with Rude Staff I recently visited LA DI DA and purchased 12 tokens for their claw machine. After realizing I didn't need all of them, I tried to return 6 tokens. When I approached the staff for a refund, I was met with extremely rude behavior. The staff member not only refused to return my money but also treated me with disrespect and dismissiveness. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I spent my hard-earned money expecting to be treated fairly and with courtesy, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and insulted. I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting this shop, as their customer service is severely lacking.
