I've shopped at Sanagan's for many years as a happy customer, but it wasn't until yesterday that I tried their hamburgers. Mind blown. They are unbelievably good. I had a bunch of people over and grilled the burgers to medium and served on toasted buns with butter and had a few standard burger toppings. They were as good as any burger I've ever eaten in my life, no kidding. All my friends had a similar reaction. I can't believe how delicious Sanagan's burgers taste. I can hardly wait to get more and try different toppings. Also, the staff there is super friendly and knowledgeable!
First time at this location and was served quickly with my double smoked bacon. I use the drippings to fry up everything usually potatoes or fries. After a dozen visits to the runnymede and annette store i decided to visit their main location. I buy 14 bucks worth weekly. I have stopped going to nossa talo since chicken breasts on the bone went up from 3.15 per lb if you buy 10lbs to 4.15. I was cashed out by the owners son and he hates the way i complain about prices on eggs deli that tastes acidic and price hikes on everything twice yearly. Many other places i have also stopped going like loblaws no frills metro food basics sobeys and fresh co. First time here and the lady with a british accent helped change the number that was not entered properly at the other store for point accumulation. Her accent caught me by surprise. Very pleasant Buy 1000 and get 60 back is the deal just for stating your number. Bacon that is not in plastic without water and local is best. I will never buy 375g for 5 dollars again. Its only 345g without plastic and after its cooked it tastes like the pigs are eating rodents and there is nothing left after water cooks away. 14 bucks for 20 thick long and wide slices of double smoked that taste is better than any ever.

Terrine de Foie Gras – $66/lb (0.520 lbs for $34.32) This housemade foie gras terrine is exceptional—rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth smooth. The flavor is elegant and balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning to let the quality of the liver shine. It spreads beautifully and transforms a simple toast or baguette into something truly special. A true gourmet experience. Duck Liver Parfait – $25/lb (0.210 lbs for $5.25) This duck liver parfait is a hidden gem—light, velvety, and subtly savory. It’s incredibly smooth and easy to spread, making it the perfect appetizer or addition to a charcuterie board. It’s the kind of item that impresses guests but is also comforting and indulgent on your own. Both products were packaged with care and tasted incredibly fresh. Sanagan’s continues to stand out for their attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, housemade offerings. One small suggestion: it would be wonderful if these products could be made a bit more affordable. I’d love to enjoy them more frequently—and I imagine others would too! Still, absolutely worth every bite. I’ll definitely be back!
Amazing shop, however maybe consider shifting your hours of ops to close by 7 instead. Always have to rush over before you guys close. Actively trying to support local rather than give Loblaws / Big grocery another dime.
The other reviews speak to the high quality and wide variety of meat, but the staff too is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the products - always willing to take the time to recommend other meats (sometimes more affordable) depending on the dish I am making or able to answer any questions I have about the meat.
If you want good quality meat, go here. Very good selection, fantastic cuts. A little pricey but good quality meat is. There are also some pantry staples…..but the meat is what you seek this place out for.
Kind and helpful people, meat of very high quality. Wanted to leave a comment for the gang, we purchased a jar of the homemade Kimchi and while it has a nice flavour profile, it is too salty to be eaten on its own. I figured you'd want to know so you can make it better for next time - great flavours just needs less salt! Will be back again soon.
