I just stopped by here randomly at the end of the day. The lady working here was very kind and the food (some coconut curry and eggs+tomato stirfry) was honestly pretty delicious for being the end of the day at a food court place.
I was really disappointed. The fried rice was bland, the food had no seasoning, and the portion wasn’t worth the $13 I spent. I work hard for my money, and this meal just wasn’t it. On top of that, someone was begging for money in the food court while I was trying to eat. I’ve liked Manchu Wok before, but this location let me down.
Server told us that they serve everything halal; we asked if pork is halal. She said, YES its halal too :). Repeated question 3 times and every time answer was YESSSSSS.
--- **Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs** When I say terrible, I mean it. This restaurant is truly awful. BAD, BAD, BAD! If you love food and want to avoid a horrible experience, stay away from this place. I’m a real customer, and I genuinely believe everyone should do whatever they can to shut this place down or, at the very least, get the staff replaced. This place doesn’t operate like a proper restaurant. There are no customers, and the reason is obvious—the staff, particularly the woman I encountered. From the moment I walked in, I could tell something was off. They spoke in a different language, but it was clear she was making rude remarks about my ethnicity while deciding who would take my order. I decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. This restaurant charges $0.25 for forks, which they keep behind a glass panel. So, I grabbed a few extra forks and left. To add insult to injury, they even charge tax on the forks. When there’s an issue, the staff starts complaining, cussing in their language, and showing anger toward each other. If you’ve ever been to another Manchu Wok, you’ll know the experience is usually much better. You’ll get samples, friendly service, and a more pleasant environment. But here? It’s completely different. The food is bland and tasteless—something you could easily make at home. On top of that, they give you small portions for a high price. It’s unfair to the customer, and that’s likely why they struggle to keep business. If you’re a new customer, I strongly advise you not to visit this place. If you’re reading this review, give it a like. We need to stop this restaurant from serving poor-quality food with terrible customer service at outrageous prices. Also, the person that is the reviewer of the mantra wok account. That’s looking at these reviews. Is not acceptable Or accurate ---
The server is not nice. I will tell my team and all my friends not to get lunch here. I asked for a piece of spicy tofu to taste and the server said it’s not allowed. Next time she’s not gonna give anything to me. Im a regular customer every week I get lunch here as I work in the office building. She’s giving me less food and not politely giving my order. I am paying and I am a customer, it’s not a crime to have a taste and I am not begging for alms. She should not work there, keep her in the kitchen or else you will loose more customers. And I promise myself not to get any food from your store anymore!!!! No never again!
Poor service and stingy portions. Their fried noodles don't have anything other than noodles. $8 for a half filled container of shanghai noodles. If you can help it, don't go here.
Updating my review: After visiting on and off for the past few years, today when I asked for a cup of water the worker rudely replied: we don't have cups, we sell water. Ok sure, after paying almost $13 for mediocre food you wouldn't give the courtesy to provide a cup with tap water? Consider this location off of my lunch options.
