Came here for a bite and a coffe and it’s one of the best coffee shops in the annex! The vibe is really nice with lots of spaces to sit but dosent feel sterile and soulless. Coffee is delicious and I highly recommend crema caffè and shaken espresso in the summer. Their sandwiches are amazing!! I got the prosciutto one and I was over the moon! New favourite in the area for sure!
Place is neverrrrrrrrr open on time. Obviously don't clean at close either. Constantly grubby in the mornings, wash rooms aren't clean and never have hand towels. Run out of supplies all the time (cups, sugar, spoons) if you normally get a large coffee and they've ran out of cups they'll give you a small coffee and still charge for a large.
The espresso is horrible. It tastes like the beans are really stale or burnt during the roasting process. Can’t believe those great reviews are possible.
The hidden rule of coffee shop ratings is that the atmosphere gets ruined if a shop gets too popular, so smart reviewers know never to review their regular spots. I’m not smart, so I pretend to slink in at off hours like that’s a sane normal person thing to do (today’s ice latte: strong! higher espresso to milk ratio than i usually get. GOOD espresso)
Monday 06/24/2024 - Around 8:10am Espresso was great! Staff were kind and was greeted kindly. I like the ambience and the italian music they played. However the place could use some cleaning. Found bunch of pastry bits where I was sitting and arouns the dining area. Some stains on the wood flooring.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite spots in the city for coffee. Great espresso-based drinks, friendly owner and staff, and a calm, inviting atmosphere for work and studying.
