This place is a vibe. Old school style coffee joint, the way I remember things as a kid. The servers are very polite and professional. They actually have classic Canadian donuts that many other places have discontinued, like Maple and Vanilla. There is tons of seating, even some with electrical outlets and USB chargers, so you can have a work session here!
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your coffee shop. I ordered a medium coffee with two milk but was given a medium coffee with two sugar instead. Upon arriving at the office, I realized the mistake and returned to the store to request a correction. An older Asian lady claimed she heard my original order and, instead of providing a new cup, she threw the coffee into the same cup I had used. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a new cup, her response was dismissive, stating that she didn’t want to see me again. I offered to pay for a new coffee, emphasizing the importance of using a fresh cup. To avoid further argument, I chose to pay again and left the premises. I also lodged a complaint with the head office; however, I have yet to receive any follow-up communication regarding this matter.
I am absolutely appalled by the behaviour at this establishment. The customer service is downright awful, with the staff playing cruel, targeted "jokes" on people. The fact that they put up fake "help wanted" signs as a joke—luring in people looking for a job, just to ridicule and make fun of them, is beyond disgusting. It’s very explicitly intentional, with the staff clearly taking pleasure in this so-called joke, laughing and adding that 4 people came in one day alone due to the sign. The manager who was in on it, as well as the other employees seriously need to be re-evaluated by the workplace. No customer should ever have to endure such an unpleasant encounter with these sickening people. It is unacceptable that Coffee Time employs such disrespectful individuals, and this reflects terribly on the company, even moreso if they don't take accountability. Action must be taken to address this—customers deserve better, and so do the people who fell victim to this cruel "joke."
Visited this location for the first time today with my mom, breakfast deal for $4.99 was amazing!!! I however was very disappointed that they would not exchange my toasted coconut donut for a different donut, it was greasy and didn’t even taste like coconut. Comfortable seating was a huge bonus, and the coffee is amazing. We will definitely be back:)
I came today to get broccoli & cheddar quiche wasn't even fresh and cook plus the stuff just trow me my drinks and my friend came yesterday she got over charge this is not right to do it
Convenient coffee shop on the Danny close to Woodbine station. Food is okay - Coffee is better :) Amina - staff member (who works mornings) is awesome - she is soo sweet and makes visits so much better (I have heard she makes excellent sandwiches from various customers - I have not had one yet). Plenty of place to sit (there are even couches). Lots of outlets to charge phones or laptops which is really convenient.
Legendary Coffee Time (they used to be on every corner). Went in here and instantly traveled back in time to the early 90s, except back then it would have been full of smokers getting a break from the cold weather. They still have better food than the bigger name places!
