Cute shop! Quick and nice service. I ordered a cortado and I liked it (I’m by no means an expert) Cute store but better for takeout, not much seating. Prices are on par for Toronto
Not much of a cafe person but I had a hot matcha latte. It was well prepped and taste smooth and creamy without any bitterness or astringency. Would consider going again if I'm in the area.
After having Rol San with the fam I was feeling for a cortado. Had to been looking forward to the drink the whole meal tbh. I used to go when it was Nine Tails. So, I walk in and there are two people working, a man and a woman. It wasn't busy at all, I order my drink and am waiting by the pick up area. The man started making my drink then the young woman took over. It was taking her a while to make the drink for some reason. I do a quick fit check in their nice big mirror and snap a selfie, then turn back around to the bar and this is when I witnessed the weirdest thing I have ever seen....she grabs the little scissors that they use to cut the milk bags (which had been sitting on the counter and God knows when it was last washed) and proceeds to use it to make the "latte art" in my cortado. I was so shook that I just grabbed the drink and left....forever.
My new secret spot it’s so calm unlike other café !! Their Matcha and Chaï are really good and all the worker are nice You must try the Yuzu-matcha tonic!!!! Fab!!
This beautifully minimalist Japanese cafe is the perfect place to relax if you're lucky to grab a seat. It's a bright little cafe with only a few bar stools and a bench, but it's a great grab-and-go spot. The matcha latte was tasty. I'll come back to try their other drinks and the specialty house-made dorayaki made with red bean, custard, or matcha. Update: I loved the house-made dorayaki!
Ninetails Cafe has become a delightful addition to my regular cafe circuit in Toronto. A friend’s recommendation led me to this small but charming spot, just steps away from the streetcar stop and Kensington Market. The cozy interior is inviting, but seating is limited, so arriving early is a good idea if you plan to stay. The service is exceptional, offering a unique touch by letting you choose your coffee bean from four different options. Opting for the standard latte and a croissant, I found the coffee and baked goods to be perfect for my morning routine. Though more suitable for take-out due to limited seating, securing a spot is a treat for a peaceful moment of reading and people-watching by the windowsill. Overall, Ninetails Cafe is a recommendation, especially if you’re looking for a cozy spot to unwind
Great experience and tasty coffee! I honestly checked them out mostly just because I like the Pokemon, but everything was really exceptional. The staff there was very friendly and even explained the name of their place to me. It's a neat story that I wasn't familiar with. Coffee was really tasty and presented well (very pretty latte art). I hope this coffee shop, like the name, attains immortality and will be around the next time I'm in Toronto. Definitely highly recommend. Go check them out!
