Ordered an iced matcha. I think this place is great at coffee, but I recommend to away from their Matchas. They close the lid for you so I didn’t see its colour, and I was in a rush so I didn’t have time to give feedback, but it tastes likes absolutely nothing. Just milk, as you can see from the colour of it.
We ordered two iced Americanos, but the quality was poor. The beverage were mainly of water with a few drops of coffee. We requested that they prepare it as a normal iced Americano at other places , but they insisted on charging us more to make the change. They were unprofessional and claimed that this was their recipe, I’m sure we are all aware of the significant difference between a low-quality beverage and a special recipes . Businesses should not sell subpar products to their customers under the guise of their own recipes. They are super unprofessional even didn’t apologize charged us for nothing!!! I recommend that they take customer service training.
Fantastic family-run (mother, father, daughter) with wide ranging coffee options and pastries. They made me the best Turkish coffee I’ve had in the city and were really engaging to chat with about their story of coming here from Turkey and about all things Turkish coffee related. I loved the experience. But just to be clear, it’s not just a Turkish cafe; it’s a cafe specialising in all sorts of well made coffees!
I just purchased their apricot and pistachio scone, I've never had a scone this light on the inside with a nice shell outside and absolutely so flavourful delicious! My cappuccino reminds me of being back in Holland, smooth and silky...most enjoyable coffee I've had here in Toronto. There is no bitterness! I unfortunately took out my order but I will be back again to try their other treats.
I love getting coffee at Origin. Tastes great, they can accommodate your own mugs if you bring one. I was also impressed that they have a special device that allows them to put on coffee cup lids without touching it which makes it all the safer to drink. Their treats are also delicious. A great neighbourhood spot!
Fair trade, single origin and in house roasted coffee is the feature here. Tried their flat white which was pulled with Ethiopian beans. I'm not usually a big fan of Ethiopian for milk based drinks, but it kinda worked on this occasion. Might have been owing to the high ratio of milk however which the coffee got a bit lost in. May have to give them a fair shake with a straight espresso shot next time.
I have tried the ethopia soe, thats not common in toronto coffee shop and worth trying this. Reasonable price and great flavour. I believed the coffee beans are roasted by their own. Provide regular coffee, single origin espresso and pour over Have wifi and you could sit all day long
