Had some repeated business with the map store across the road in the neighbourhood and discovered this charming spot the first time. Have made sure to take time out to stop here each time I returned! Time slows when you’re here and you’re transported to another land, with wonderful food and drink for company.
Oh I love this spot in my neighborhood. So sad I didn’t notice them earlier. Lovely hosts and great variety of the food (Turkish/Mediterranean style mostly). My go to place for San Sebastián cheesecake! They bake it on the spot so it’s super fresh always, very generous portion and it’s so yummy!
My new go to place! I’ve been looking for good Turkish food in the area, and we finally have it. An extremely wide range on their menu, perfect for grabbing a coffee or sitting down. Service was great, extremely friendly woman working who was accommodating and explained the menu well for those new to Turkish food. I’ve now gone there to sit in, and takeout and will be a regular from here on out.
The Turkish coffee was so delicious — smooth, not bitter, and very foamy. It was a wonderful, cozy and clean place. The owner was so warm and friendly. I’ll try the turkish dish Mantı as soon as possible. They also have Turkish Baklava.
I wish I took some picture from my coffee tray before rushing to drink it. From service to tasty turkish coffee I enjoyed it all. Not pricy, good quality of coffee and clean area. Thank you. Highly recommended.
I stopped by at this cafe on a cold evening when I really needed a warm soothing drink . I was glad that i came here. The owner is very friendly and has created a welcoming environment. I had a nice ginger tea and a date cookie.Both were very nice. The date cookie was actually filled with dates and was yummy
I recently bought a jar of plum jam and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this gem!
