This is my DAILY coffee perch. Lots of regulars here for the vibe, awesome window seating and solid coffee every time. 10/10 coffee shop, best one in Riverside. Basic pastries. Recently improved (more comfortable) seating.
I am really put off by the fact they don’t offer straws for their iced drinks anymore. Yes, you read that right! If I’m paying for overpriced coffee, I should get the tools to drink it properly. Some people need straws for medical reasons (or to avoid coffee stains on their teeth). The iced coffee cups makes it messy to drink without one since the lid is flat and overflows. It’s also unhygienic if the barista is touching my lid and now I have to drink from it. Just give customers a straw, stop making it complicated. I won’t be a returning customer anymore due to this random rule.
806 Queen St E Jimmy's is the best in Toronto! Fantastic service and the mocha flat white was superb. The best we had in the city. Why do you guys have such better coffee than we have in the US?!
Such a lovely little spot! I stopped by for a cold brew and was warmly welcomed by Janet at the counter — she was super kind, easy to talk to and full of great tips. Very cheerful and energetic — made my day, honestly She even kindly offered me a juice, which was such a sweet gesture. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, a great place to work on my laptop for a while. There’s also a cute little garden in the back, perfect for taking a break. I’ll definitely be back!
Probably the only place in the city that doesn't charge upwards of $6 for an iced coffee, I mean what sort of mad world are we living in? Their $3 cold brews are on point, served with a smile. Will be back!
Small cute coffee shop with great tasting coffee. The barista was sweet and offered me the JVO which was a Vanilla Caramel Latte and it was amazing! The shop has wifi and I was able to work there as well with some nice ambient music in the background.
super charming cafe - with big windows and beautiful wooden tables (and amazing, beautifully decorated sheet metal ceiling - which seems to be their trade mark that I've seen in other locations). Good coffee - I've noticed that Jimmy's roast tends rather on the darker side. friendly and attentive staff, not overwhelming chill music. Perfect place to sit down, read or quietly work on your computer. during my visits I didn't hear anybody talking loudly on cellphone/conference call apart from one take out customer. There is also some merch (like cheerful yellow cups, hats) and you can buy beens and have them ground.
