What an amazing place. Cozy and cute. We ordered the Spice Rose, filter coffee, and masala vada. Everything was great! These folks also host jam sessions that you can sign up for. Highly recommend if you are in the area

I recently visited the café for the first time and absolutely fell in love with it. The dosas were delicious, and the iced chai was refreshing and full of flavor. The patio is beautiful and peaceful — I truly felt at home. It’s a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy authentic flavours . Highly recommended!
First time coming to this place and I really enjoyed myself here. The overall decor and vibe of this place is very calm and cozy and the person working here was very kind and answered any questions I had. They have some things for sale here as well. Such as, a Davara Tumbler for filtered coffee, Masala Chai Tea and more. I love learning about different cultures and trying new things. I think it is lovely for Toronto to have a place that sells Indian Coffee and so coming here was lovely and I will definitely come back here!
This place used to be Madras Kaapi which was one of my go to places and I was actually sad when they closed- I love filter coffee and it’s not easy to find a good one in GTA. I’m glad they took over and took it from where last business left. Their coffee is as satisfying as the one that was my daily in Bangalore. Love what they have done with the place - it’s a nice cosy little space with great ambience - perfect spot to relax, read or work while enjoying coffee. Snacks and Idli Podi are top tier too! I hope they keep up with the quality and experience. Highly recommended!
Really enjoyed the egg puff and filter coffee at Mayil Coffee House. The puff was super tasty—crispy outside with a flavorful filling—and the coffee was rich and authentic. Cozy spot with friendly vibes. Definitely coming back!
The cafe is super cozy with seating and it can get packed real quick! We had the egg puff, idli podi and 2 regular filter coffees. The idli was so soft and fluffy and I loved the spicy kick of the podi powder on it! We had to order the idli again with two more coffees. Their filter coffee is amazing, chicory based, which is great; not like any other South Indian coffee in downtown!! Finally found a go-to location for South Indian coffee in downtown!
