The coffee is good. There is a line up during morning and morning break hour but other wise it’s OK. Another downer is there is still an up-charge for alternative nut/seed milks. When many national and international chains have removed this up-charge, it is time MM does this as well. The best thing is they have a glass case full of vegan donuts and pastries from Bloomers. Sometimes I feel they are not as fresh as the ones from Bloomers stores. Love that they are locally owned and Canadian chain
This is the lululemon of coffees… in every way you can think of The experience and the coffee/drink you get depends on the time of day you go there. The coffee is the best in the morning but the waiting times are like 15 - 20 minutes depending on what you order. If you just order a black drip coffee at any time between 8:45 - 9:30 am it’ll take you 10 minutes. Anything more complex like a matcha latte and you’re waiting for 15 - 20 minutes. Also the same drink in the evening tastes awful. The lady who takes the order is super sweet but the rest, depends on the day they’re having. Love their baked goods. Their coffee is better than Starbucks but not as good as, say, Balzacs. Is their coffee a must have? No. Do I prefer it to a Starbucks? Maybe. If I’m in the mood to wait 20 mins for a coffee in the morning while being stressed about work All in all, it’s a pass for me. But I definitely will be heading to the one in the RBC waterfront building. I find the quality of drink and the experience is way better there.
I had placed an order for Oat latte extra hot and other one cold with extra espresso. First of all when I went at the counter there was no greetings not even a hello ! The Pilipino/ Vietnamese girl who was taking my order did not ask me my order I was waiting patiently and then she pointed towards machine to pay, I told her that I haven’t even placed an order yet !!! Clearly shows lack of attention. Further more when I was talking to her and started placing an order she started to talk to one of the other crew member which I feel is a disrespect as I was still speaking to her. Then she went away to check whose order was that, so I told other member to take my order . She as well listened half and said she he previous girl is back she will take your order. Done with the order I paid and waited. On the very first sip my GF was like its not oat latte, so she went and asked and instead of accepting the mistake she charged her again for oat milk and made her wait over there I felt that totally bad and customer service couldn’t have been worse. I did not even bothered to change my coffee. Thanks for ruining the morning!!!!!
I really like their coffee. It’s my go to when I need to work a long day in downtown. There is always a huge line up though but that just means people like it. They are not overly expensive compared to other cafes in the PATH.
People rste this place highly so I was very disappointed. A flat white has to be strong, with a double shot in a small cup. I ordered a small and it was weak and milky. No such thing as a weak flat white. A stupid American thing to think you need a giant mug for two shots. Also you should be able to drink a flat white or cappuccino immediately after it's made. This was too hot and burned my mouth which changes the taste of the milk. Absolutely clueless
i love this location. not only the coffee is above average but the staff… they are so friendly and nice! highly recommend these guys, they are always smiling, never had a bad experience here.
Heard so much about this little coffee place and finally tried their coffee and it is divine! I cannot wait to try the matcha with ginger that someone had ordered. Loved the matcha cookie so soft and delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and chocolatey goodness. Will definitely be back for more.
