Rooms is an interesting spot to grab a coffee. Me and my girlfriend both got lattes. We tend to be more into sweet, flavored coffee drinks. Unfortunately, my girlfriend's drink wasn't particularly flavorful, but I was quite happy with mine. So, your mileage may vary. This little shop also has a nice little area to walk around, browse the products, and just hang out while you sip your coffee. Definitely a cool vibe. Worth stopping in, for sure.
Great food, great service. I didn’t catch his name, but the barista is a great conversationalist. My one caveat is that the seating by the counter is a bit awkward. I wish there was an area close to the brewing station but not the cash. Otherwise lovely!
Great spot for coffee really cute retail shop as well. Not much seating to dine in, but great for a grab and go. Quality of the coffee was really good.
I rarely leave reviews but had a great experience on Monday. I very confidently ordered the wrong drink, paid and noticed when it arrived. Not only did the barista insist on making the one I intended to order, he was incredibly kind and understanding and even offered for my friend and I to keep the original one (we declined). I respect people who are in such a good mood at work that they let little things like this slide off their back rather than responding with judgmental stares which seems to be the norm these days. The early grey matcha was unreal, thanks team!
In this place vibes do really meet interesting coffee. More a modern european kind of beans but really good. Staff was superkind what made it a whole chill and interesting stay. Can highly recommend it!
You will not taste a better coffee anywhere else. We travel extensively and have never found a finer coffee than at Rooms on Dufferin Its worth a visit to Toronto to try it. The staff are very fab too.
I don't know why people are so in love with this atmosphere; the coffee shop is inside a retail store. The coffee is mid and not served at a tepid temperature. The barista was aloof. He served me a drink with ingredients that had expired. (He literally said, "Oh this is expired but it tastes fine to me.) It's convenient but don't make a special trip here.
