I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had at your Second Cup location today. I waited in line behind one customer, and when it was my turn, the cashier did not greet me or acknowledge me. Instead, they continued their personal conversation without so much as a “hello” or “I’ll be with you shortly.” After standing there without any acknowledgement, I decided to leave, as the service did not feel welcoming or worth continuing to wait for. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be addressed with the team. I hope to have a better experience on my next visit. Thank you.
Nothing else matters if you can’t get served. I waited 10 minutes and the lady was still working on the previous customer’s order. Had to leave. The lady behind me was contemplating joining me. Came back an hour later and I’m still in line for 10 minutes. They have nice products but could move more if they weren’t skimping on the help. Please get some more staff!
Second Cup Café on Yonge Street is my go-to coffee spot and truly one of my favorites. They brew consistently great coffee that always hits the mark, and the staff are super friendly, attentive, and really understand what customers need. I love that they also offer an early morning combo deal before 8am (coffee and muffin) – perfect for starting the day right. I like their dark roast coffee and mocchacino . The vibe is cozy and welcoming, whether you’re stopping in quickly or sitting down to relax. Their muffins and baked goods are fresh, and I’ve also enjoyed their sandwiches, wraps, and flatbreads which are perfect for a light lunch. They also have nice seasonal drinks that keep things exciting. A great place to grab a coffee, work a little, or just hang out.
Young's Second Cup, across from Dasville Station, is a great option for those looking for a good coffee shop with excellent snack options and good service. The store was renovated last year, undergoing painting and structural changes, which has made it even better. If you're driving, parking in the parking lot in front of the store may be difficult, but it's possible to park on the side streets. For customers with disabilities, the location has tables with space for wheelchairs and walkers and automatic doors that open and close, but there's no Braille menu. The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and they also offer a rewards program. It's worth visiting and becoming a customer, as well as enjoying the local businesses.
I help manage a Homecare company and Second Cup graciously gave our Client a Croissant to tide her over while waiting for her extremely late bus. Thank you Second Cup for your kindness to local Seniors. Appreciated
"I had an amazing tea here today! The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming, the place was clean, and everything was just perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!"
Absolutely terrible customer service... Walked in, there was no line so I was just looking over the menu while waiting to be greeted (which didn't happen) only to have 2 people served prior to me. When I finally got to order, I asked the woman if they have iced mochas. She said "yup" I said, "great, I'll have one of those" she then proceeds to ask "cold brew or latte?" To which I replied "iced mocha" which means ESPRESSO, milk and chocolate. Never in my 10+ years of barista experience has the word "cold brew" been in any type of relation to an iced mocha. The woman then proceeded to openly talk to another customer about our interaction while I was standing there waiting for my drink to be made. Been in the area for 2+ years, never stepped foot in this place before today, and certainly won't ever be back based on my experience today.
