Such a cute coffee shop - right where I needed to find one - walking home between Leslieville and Little India. My delicious iced latte saved me on this hot day. Delicious choice of treats too, all hand made in house. Perfection!

The BEST espresso based drinks, fresh-baked scones, cookies and other baked goods (plus gluten-free/vegan options!) My go-to order is a latte and banana bread, served by their lovely barista, Kat.

I started a group for female entrepreneurs and business owners in the East End of Toronto and we needed a place to get started. Libby was quick to volunteer and helped make our first two events successful. She was easy to communicate with, very helpful and super responsive. During the events the customer service was excellent despite there being 20 of us arriving in under 15 minutes. The barista was very patient and everyone received their drinks quickly. It was the perfect place for small business owners to connect and network. Everyone that attended the event loved Mess Hall! I also purchased some of their baked goods - which were so good they did not last very long! I would definitely like to host another event there soon!

An amazing March Break baking camp with Magpie Bakery at the Mess Hall. Lovely space and atmosphere, and lovelier even staff! Still coming down from the sugar high of the treats my daughter brought home!

So many great things coming out of Mess Hall! A place for small home based companies to shine, a place to learn, a place to try new foods and learn how to make some of them yourself! Promoting community, eating local, doing it yourself and a love for good food! Very professional, and also lots of fun! I highly recommend Mess Hall!

I attended an in person workshop and learned how to make kombucha at home. FAB. This inviting and comfortable space was perfect for a workshop, and the Mess Hall crew is great at both helping to support other local small businesses too. Community Love <3

Libby & Arlene, A major contributor to the success of my very first pie was the wonderful camaraderie and learning environment that you provided for me. Thank you very much. I will be looking for future offerings at the Mess Hall. I had a blast! Please feel free to publish my comments wherever you feel is appropriate. Thanks for the recipe and the tips! Janet, we loved hosting your networking events and can't wait for the next one! One of the things we love most about having this beautiful space is being able to bring people together for this kind of thing, surrounded by good food, great coffee and compelling conversation. Let's get everyone together again soon!

We’re so glad your daughter had a great time. We did too! Budding bakers are the best treat to have in the house.
