It’s unfortunate that a place with so many good qualities lacks in customer service when something goes wrong, especially when the wrong was on their side. I got charged twice, showed proof and they chose to argue with me, didn’t reimburse me in any way. Disappointing.

Highly recommend this place due to location on ground level. I had a short meeting with business partner there. IMHO more suitable for that than the food court level. We had macchiato and hibiscus tea.

I’m having a hard time understanding the positive reviews. I always see a lot of people ordering so I tried different coffees here too, multiple times. All of them had a really odd flavor, either sour or way too sweet. I just don’t understand if the positive reviews are real or if people here really just enjoy super sweet coffees. Also very expensive, a small latte in January (no taxes, and before tips) was $8.

During my first visit, the coffee was delicious. The best I ever had. The subsequent two times, the iced coffee tasted like tomato v8. I don't know what it is, but I've given up now. Will try other places.

Small cafe on the first floor of Scotia tower. It's very convenient if you work in the building. The prices are average for a cafe downtown - they offer a decent pastry selection with a few twists, like empanadas. I got a matcha latte with oat milk and a beef empanadas. The latte was very smooth and creamy, and not sweet, which I prefer. They heated up the empanadas for me and it was ok, a little small for the price. I'd love to visit more often if the price for oat milk (+$1) was not so steep, but I get that everything costs money.

When I ordered a cup of iced latte I expect it comes with a cup covered by a lid so i can grab and go, but the server just let the lid completely open and let me do the job.

This place has quickly become my favourite spot for an espresso in the Financial District. Choice of 3 roasts for their espresso is really nice, especially if you prefer a light roast. Friendly staff too.
