I’ll speak to my experience as maybe it’s an anomaly. I found my experience here to be abrasive and unhelpful, he quoted $45 for a replacement stylus for my record player. When I asked if I could bring it in for him to fit it and confirm the replacement part works he said no. When I asked if I attempt to put it in and it doesn’t fit could I bring it back, he said I couldn’t bring it back once I bought it. Ultimately said that he won’t sell to me again because he doesn’t sell parts and that I’m questioning him. So I left and called pops records, the person over the phone was very courteous and let me know who to reach out to to get a replacement sent to my house for free!
I would never go back to this place. I got ripped off and paid $200 for a simple cold join repair on the power connector, where I was told a part in my active speaker was replaced. When asked to see the part that got replaced my request was denied. And the owner is not very friendly. If you want to be scammed this is the place to go (my 2c).
I really don't recommend AMI Electronics, Oscar does NOT hold up his end of the bargain when it comes to 1 Month or 3 Month warranty as it appears. Always freaks out followed by excuses and insults towards the other person for simply leaving a negative review. Oscar becomes very defensive with people and then the insults begin. Why? The way that Oscar reacts to negative reviews is SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Not once did I hear " I am sorry for you experience" but Oscar would rather say " This is nonsense " or "I will give you $1,000 cash and a free tv if he or she can prove it" What's there to prove? If AMI IElectronics is Low Quality, and is not satisfactory to the consumer then so be it! By insults to someone that's not happy and leaves you a Negative Review does not give you the right to call a person a crazy or telling them "YOU NEED A PHYCOLOGIST" Maybe infact the person could have mental issues, why would you shame them? Because of a Negative Review? You have alot of growing up to do. No reason to start a fight, you just make yourself look so unprofessional. Very immature there Oscar!!!! GOOD ONE!
