Stephen is the man and his crew is fantastic. The quality of their works was fantastic, even better than I expected and faster too. Stephen as quick to answer his email for a consultation, he came by the same day to have a look at quote it out and gave me a fair price on the spot. We agreed upon on a date and then when my schedule changed he bumped by work to be done the net day. Turnover time and workmanship was truly top notch. I have nothing but great things to say about this business and if I ever need any masonry done again I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

It's been very difficult the last few seasons to find contractors willing to do small jobs. I was extremely pleased that Stephen was able to help on such a short turn-around. 4 days after our initial contact, concrete pour & finish for 10' x 10' shed pad was complete. The Self Build Canada crew were on-time, friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. Results were professional, with an eye for detail that made me very happy. I can't say enough about Stephen... knowledge, professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communicator. He even offered helpful advice on finishing the remainder of my projects. I would recommend Self Build to anyone. They are a highly professional company who delivered on everything we agreed to. We had a lot of stone work to be done including retaining walls, drainage, and loads of flag stone. This was a very complicated project and Self Build got to work the next day and we’re there every day until the job was finished nearly three months later. This summer there were some extremely hot days but the boys worked through it. My wife and I are very pleased with the end result. Self Build is a very professional company that does what they say they are going to do and they stand behind their product. Five stars!!
We had Stephen and his crew do a foundation for a rear addition, demo a garage, and do exterior waterproofing for the existing house. They managed to get the foundation done under a very tight timeline. We couldn't believe how hard these guys worked to get the job done. Even as the cold weather hit they kept the pace up and worked long days to make sure the job got done. Any issues that came up were dealt with very quickly and they kept on budget and didn't charge for some extras that came up along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Stephen and Self Build Canada.
