I've been going to Kim's for years and love it. They have an incredible selection and very good prices. The staff is knowledgeable, and always willing to help find or order items. Most importantly, they are warm and friendly and care about their customers and the community. A gem of a store.
Just wanted an item from the personal care section, knew exactly what I wanted and would’ve been in and out. Had my chihuahua with me and walked in without problem. As I approached the section with the item I wanted, I was told to go any further I would have to pick up my dog since there was bulk food (I didn’t know there was bulk food). I said I just wanted personal hygiene items and was not going further inside. The employee then put her hand in my dog’s face without asking to pet him, when my dog was clearly uncomfortable I walked away to cash out. While cashing out, the cashier then told me again that next time I would have to carry him. So is it to a certain point in the store or throughout the store that I have to carry him? There is no signage outside saying anything about dogs; I’m not offended that I can’t take my dog in but it should be clear what your rules are based on how dog-friendly most of the shops in the neighborhood are. Felt super unwelcomed by the fact that they didn’t say that it was no dogs allowed store and still barely let me shop. If the dog is not allowed inside just say that.
Love going to this store for any vegan needs we have! Always finding something new and good quality products - which made this store our go-to in the neighbourhood :)
This store, although quaint, has so many unique products that you are sure to find exactly what you need. The customer service has been excellent every-time I have visited. I would 100% suggest you shop here if you need natural foods/products. Support local family owned shops!
Favourite place for bulk foods, natural skincare, and supplements! Prices are excellent and everyone I’ve interacted with has been so friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough.
Best option for bulk foods in the area. Better selection, cheaper, and all around much better run than the Source which opened next to them. Support local fixtures rather than poorly run foreign owned chains moving into the neighbourhood!
Where do I begin…service, knowledge, selection - they have it all! Experienced staff are like walking encyclopedias on health and product options. (This I do not take for granted). Yes the store is narrow but if you need to get in and out fast the staff make it possible with speedy service at the cash. We shop here as needed for just about everything. Yesterday I needed whole nutmeg for a pumpkin loaf. Kim had it in their organic bulk food section; which by the way is completely food-safe friendly. Their bulk food section seems endless for this tiny and mighty jam-packed health-food/grocery store. One night when I was shopping there the gentleman in front of me ran in for two frozen pizzas and ice cream. I came upon this store as suggested by Cookery staff when I asked if they carried fruit and veggie wash to compliment their food brushes. We’ve been shopping at Kim since. Oh yeah - did I mention they have really great prices too!
