Very cozy and super affordable but still yummy and filling portions. Where else can you find a $15 lunch deal The lady who served me AND made the sushi was the absolute sweetest and such a huge ray of sunshine Will be my new go-to spot
I ordered takeout and received this salmon roll. How can a restaurant confidently serve this to customers. I won’t be ordering from here in the future.
Cute place run by such a nice friendly couple. Decorated in a traditional Japanese style, this restaurant is small but beautifully authentic with great food.
This is such a cute little place. The food is terrific and fresh. The atmosphere is a little traditional with wooden tables and benches but they play fun music (what could probably be described as high energy elevator music). Think piano with a good tempo. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Checking on you regularly. Feels like a nice family run restaurant.
NOTE: I will give a zero star if I have the option I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the lunch buffet experience my family and I had at your restaurant on. We were eagerly anticipating a delightful meal, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory and left us extremely disappointed. Firstly, the sushi we ordered had an excessive amount of rice, which made me feel uncomfortably full after just a few pieces. To put this into perspective, the rice portion on sushi at Sushi Ichiban is at least three to four times larger than that at Sushi Kitchen. This significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the variety of sushi offered at the buffet, which was one of the main reasons we chose to dine at Sushi Ichiban. Moreover, the tempura we ordered was served cold. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she took the dish away without offering any apology. Upon questioning her, she informed us that the chef had made extra tempura that other customers did not want, and that was why it was served to us cold. She assured us that she would ask the chef to prepare a fresh batch, but instead, the same tempura was reheated and returned to our table. This response was not only disappointing but also unacceptable. Additionally, we ordered salad, seaweed, mango rolls, and hand cones at the same time we ordered our sushi, but these items never arrived until I questioned their whereabouts 30 minutes after we had finished eating the other sushi. This delay was ridiculous, and our children lost their appetites from waiting, leading us to cancel the hand cones and mango rolls they had ordered. The level of service we received does not meet the standards we expect from a restaurant like Sushi Ichiban. We will definitely not be returning and will ensure to inform all our family and friends, so they avoid dining here in the future. NOTE: Avoid this restaurant and go elsewhere, you will enjoy your food much better somewhere else.
Ordered two different rolls and Miso soup for takeout. I arrived about 5 mins after ordering and they were friendly and polite giving me a table and tea while I waited. Food was ready extremely quick. volcano roll was solid. Very fair pricing Will be back for more :)
Not good! The Salmon roll was disgusting. Salmon was hard and not fresh. And my salmon bento box was just horribly over cooked. And there was no vegetables not worth money spent!! Very disappointed. I want my money back!!!
