The best tasting teriyaki experience I have eaten in a long long time. The variety of veggies in my chicken teriyaki was fantastic. My local location only gives you carrots and broccoli. This location had lots of peppers, mushrooms, and string beans. I wish more locations were like this one.

I had a deeply troubling experience with a staff member at the Terrace cafe teriyaki experience on January 8, 2025 while i was there at lunch. Despite being informed by another customer that I was waiting, the lady at the counter ignored me for an extended period. When she finally attended to me, her dismissive demeanor and unwillingness to engage were evident. Finally when the order is ready she told me to go straight to the cashier as if I am going to run away with the food. Sharing this incident with my wife, I learned she had a similar experience the previous day. Based on what i saw, she doesn't treat others the same way. This behavior appears discriminatory and warrants immediate review by management. Feel free to reach out for more information.

I'm writing to share my disappointing experience at the Terrace Cafe in SickKids. As a staff member, I've tried to order food there three times, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful each time. On every occasion, when I approached the counter to place my order, the staff member taking orders would ask me to wait. However, instead of attending to my order, they would spend around 20 minutes washing pots and seemingly distracted in the kitchen. As a result, I had to leave and purchase food from Subway due to my work commitments. I hope you'll look into this matter to improve the service and efficiency at the Terrace Cafe.

Tried this place for the first time and it was an AMAZING decision. The food is soooo good, the sauces, the veggies, the rice, the noodles all come together to make a DELICIOUS meal. Very good beef and chicken bowls. Don’t listen to the other reviews, this is an amazing restaurant with AMAZING SERVICE and DELICIOUS FOOD. It’s a pretty good bowl portion size, especially for the price you pay, I’d say you get what you paid for!

I ordered the terriyaki chicken soba noodles and it was not good. The chicken didn’t even seem like the usual mall locations like the flavour. Seemed like boiled chicken. And I couldn’t understand what the lady was asking me 1 or 2. I said 1 cause I ordered 1 but she was asking about how many ladles of sauce i wanted. I thought I was choosing the right option in the food market because it was the busiest but it was not good.

I ordered the shrimp this time. Despite a long lineup, the "chef" took the time to make sure the veggies were properly cooked and the "hot plate" (where food was cooked) was cleaned frequently. I have had too much bad experience with similar places, and stuck with black specks all over my food. This one @ Sick kids, I have no concern. Well done!

Fast but expensive for what you get. Chicken is like dried cardboard, and what they sell as "Ramen" isn't even close. Go to Kinton Ramen. Stir Fry's are highly calorific, mostly rice/noodle with cheap veggies and dried out chicken with a heavy dose of salt. Pass.
