The server was really polite and helpful with helping us select a platter. And the sushi was great! Way better than the other sushi places I’ve tried downtown
I got this poke 2 for 1, which was a great deal. The fish itself is fresh and the ingredients are generous. Why's this a 2 star review? 3 words: BBQ Eel Sauce. It's just much too sweet, much too strong, and entirely overpowers the dish. I really wish i enjoyed this dish, because every other element was great. But that sauce was so pungent, so omnipresent in every bite... it kinda ruined it for me. So: get the poke here. It's good! Just, god, whatever you do: DON'T GET THE BBQ EEL SAUCE! I know it's tempting. it got me, too. but I just wanted to warn folks.
They sent the wrong items. I get that people make mistakes so I wasn't going to leave a review on this one experience, but I tried to eat the item they wrongfully sent (eel roll? IDK) and the taste was so bad I couldn't even eat it.
A nice sushi spot located on Queen. Ordered the Eel lover combo and octopus sashimi. Everything was really good, and the servers were great too! The prices are good and the ambience is lovely! The staff here are amazing too!! Keep in mind that this spot can get busy during lunch hours but definitely worth a visit!
I’ve ordered multiple times through Uber Eats because the poke is really good—but I’m honestly frustrated now. Every single time, I request two sauces on the side for the two pokes I order, and they never get it right. This time, I specifically said I don’t want soup because I always throw it away. It’s a complete waste, and I made it clear in the note. But again, they completely ignored it. It’s really disappointing that they keep disregarding simple instructions. The food may be great, but the lack of attention to customer requests is unacceptable. If this keeps happening, I won’t be ordering again.
Way too much sauce on the creamy salmon poke bowl... I only ate half, complained and they didnt even offer any kind of compensation. I was quite sick the day after :( I have IBS, but sushi is one of my safe foods...
Absolutely amazing, I tried this because my usual poke place was closed and I will never return to the old place because this by far is superior and glorious :) I wish I took a picture I didn’t breathe while eating I just inhaled the gloriousness. Thank you again for being the best!
